I replied to the case with the proof of him trying to brib me and leaving shitloads of negs for many other sellers. Within 5 minutes Ebay sent me an email stating that the case was closed and that they had sided in my favor. A small victory for Dave

I saw the new album available for download but didn't even go anywhere near it as it looks like a collection of religious hymns or something, as far as I can see. Does it have actual rock songs on it, or wtf is it?

 

It is a worship album. Not bad for that vein. I think it compares very favorably with Petra's ventures in that area.

 

However, personally I would rather listen to almost anything else they have put out.

 

To Know That You're Alive was their best effort, by far, IMO.

I really don't get the "overly mellow" comparison on the new Mastedon. In fact I think it's heavier than LOFCAUDIO. Definitely heavier than his solo works.

I really do not think it is heavier than Lofcaudio. It is definitely not as uptempo as songs like Holiest One, When it All Comes Down, Thief in the Night and People of This Time. None of the choruses grab me, either, like some of the slower/lighter ones on Lofcaudio (Run to the Water, Life on the Line).

Different tastes, I guess. It will receive another listen or two, but right now it has been a disappointment.

Sadly I must agree with Geoff. Total sludge rock to these ears. Just kinda droning on and on. Not a single track on their myspace impressed me at all.

Several months later, and my thoughts have not changed. One excellent song and not much else to speak of.

I won a relatively rare CD about a year ago for a really good price (cannot remember which one right now.) After paying I waited and waited and waited..... Finally contacted her and she said it had been mailed for sure, but she could not provide tracking. Eventually, she refunded my money, although I wonder if the CD was ever mailed in the first place (since I had gotten a bargain.) I was not real impressed with their service.

He's back on track! Got an "new ebay auctions" email this evening...

I can't believe that he is stealing collector's money with this cheap way....I have seen many times the IDs that the guys above mentioned,but I couldn't imagine that he uses this dirty way to gain extra money,although I though that it was too strange for mr.kim78 to have always the same feedback stats after so many purchases...

That gbayemporium fucker scammed me (I should have been paying attention and blocked his ass) and gave my my only neg of the last year as well as fucking up my star ratings. He sent me email saying that the whole reason he did it was because of the comments people made here on the board. eBay won't do anything because the communication was done outside of eBay.

 

Not a suprise with that jerk off. We as a community should all get together and bid on his items and give him multiple negs and get rid of his sorry ass on Ebay. Come on people for Dan and everyone else he has fucked over, let's get this cocksuker.

 

We should bid and file Item not received through Paypal, imagine a dozen or more filing claims at the same time. Paypal would have to react and surely Ebay would as well. The good part is you would get your money back and you could leave the fucker a neg. He has no fuckin' clue how many people would do this just to see his shitty Ebay store collapse because of his total lack of morals.

I guess I just want to reiterate my point...that I never thought the dude didn't send me my CD, he just was really crappy about replying back to any of my inquiries (including Paypal complaints). He blamed it on being on vacation, which my or may not have been legitimate, but it is certainly plausible (even though it seems weird somebody wouldn't check email for weeks on end, but I've already mentioned that in previous posts). I was just curious as to if anyone else had problems with dealing with him. So I've never said he was a scam artist or anything like that, I was just trying to feel out if I should be concerned about no CD after waiting over a month and no replies to my inquiries. And to date as of today, the CD still never has arrived, so I'm sure he sent it to the wrong address like I said before.

 

So even though I probably won't take back my negative feedback because I think it is important for others to know I had a bad experience as a buyer dealing with him, I just want to say that I'm probably the exception, not the rule with this seller. But he does seem to be having some type of issues as of late with other people besides me.

 

OK, I've gotten 2 more emails from him demanding I remove the negative feedback, then another one just with the word "LIAR" in a big red font, so I just told him to fuck off, so hopefully he does. I know most people have had good luck with this guy, but I'm done with him.

If he is really serious about customer service, he will stop trying to bully customers into positive feedback. Plus he will make sure he returns emails, etc.
