Yeah, I got a message this morning refunding my money due to it being out of stock. Not really what I wanted to wake up to.

 

Yeah, two of my 31 I ordered were out of stock: Naked City and Letchen Grey. I picked up Naked City on eBay, but still trying to get Letchen Grey.

Time is almost up for these great bargains. Only a couple days left.

 

Did anyone pick up anything that has flown under the radar that might be worth picking up...?

Looks like he is mostly a seller. I guess I'll be covered as long as I ship by "registered Mail" here in the US. Although he could still claim item wasn't as described. It might be worth sending just to get an address on this guy.

 

 

This "redlioncollections" guy got outbid on my auction. Thankfully I don't have to risk dealing with him.

Nice chorus, melody and energy and overall a nice tune with a nice little solo.

I want to suggest Kelley's Heroes to everyone. That has to be Retrospects best release ever.

Some good stuff at great prices.

 

One of the best bargains there is the Aura Surreal - "Sanity Awakes" CD. It's on the RetroThrash label but don't let that scare you away. Some heavy yet melodic gems on that one. This one was a unexpected surprise to me... and at $2.99 you can't go wrong.

This was one of the ones I just purchased. SO MUCH great stuff on sale there right now!

Bought 31 CDs for about $180, including shipping. That's more CDs than I have purchased in the last year or longer!

Paid with a e-check and it cleared about a week later. He then ordered 2 more discs from me and paid within a day or two with paypal. Besides having to wait about 2 weeks for payment to clear all went well.

Everything looks good at first but scroll down 7 or so feedback and watch the shit hit the fan. Jamie Levine is bad news.

Plus most of the good feedback left over the years is for customers of his.

I found a feedback for a guitar he bought in 2009. Filed a claim and won. Left negative feedback for seller. THEN he resold the item on eBay. Unbelievable! He is a true tool:

anaccapela10.... gave him a chance, but what a ridiculous piece of shit. Claims he never got the CDs and wants me to refund him and then he'll pay me back when the package is delivered and/or is returned to me and I re-send. Yeah, right. He tried to do a Paypal chargeback and the only reason it didn't go through was because he filed it outside of the time frame. Also bitched about how I didn't send the package registered. Well, you don't pay for registered, you don't get registered. And registered shipping here in Canada costs out the ass!!!!!!!

 

Any sellers out there... trust me. DON'T give him the benefit of the doubt. Block its irritating ass. You don't want/need the aggrevation. As Dave let us all know, he's also super-anal and demanding as hell.

Just my 2 cents worth after reading reply after reply:

 

When I first read the thread, before most of the back and forth responses, I didn't see anything out of line. After all, this thread is section of the forum is here for a reason. Those of you who have traded with Adriano and had good experiences I'm sure will continue to trade with him. My guess is M4M will not.

 

I really don't think that one (possible honest mistake) will hurt a reputation of someone of Adriano's stature. I also don't believe that this thread will hurt his reputation either. I just took this thread as a "heads up".

 

I want to point out... I'm not taking sides here, I'm just stating how I took this thread. I didn't see it as an effort to ruin anyone's reputation.

Exactly how I feel. Transactions go south for whatever reason. I recently had a transaction with M4E's brother go sour, and I am still working to get that one rectified. But on the issue with Adriano, I feel M4E was straight up honest about the warning (without going overboard), and was very cordial in his responses to some rather sharp confrontations. I cannot find fault with what he stated.

Let me know when that Jillson comes out. Also, a few months ago I signed up for the email notifications when the website is updated and haven't gotten any emails aside from the one confirming I signed up. Is that service working?

Same here with the emails. It just doesn't work. I have tried to sign up several times.
