  1. I haven't pulled the trigger on picking this one up yet. I was a little disappointed with their last release. I much preferred their debut EP and S/T releases. The More Than The Moon release just didn't do as much for me. Then they had the two other songs that came out around the same time (Never Enough and All You Need Is A Heartbeat) but weren't on that album. I actually loved both of those songs and think it might have made More Than The Moon better had they been on it. I'll probably get this one but just going to wait to hear more first. Maybe I can find a used copy of it for cheap price or catch it on sale.
  2. I'm looking forward to this one. I'm opposite of most people on this site. I preferred Bill Matson on lead vocals and loved the Four Winds release. I hope they stick with that sound.
  3. HAH!! I wish I was 40 again. You are not old Geoff. Like Doggy said.....spring chicken.
  4. I got mine from them. I have ordered from them multiple times over the past few years and never had any problems. Have you tried contacting them through their Facebook page as well. I had a few questions about a release and contacted them through there. They responded back really quick. I hope you are able to get a response back from them.
  5. Hey all, Have any of you ever purchased cd's from Bad Reputation Records website? I am interested in picking up some of their reissues (with bonus tracks) and have a few questions regarding them. If you did buy directly from them, how was their service? Are they reliable? How was their shipping fees? I didn't see anything listed on their site about prices. How was their product (packaging, inserts, sound)? Thanks guys and I appreciate any input on them.
  6. I'm not sure if this has been shared or not but Heavens Edge bassist George "G.G." Guidotti has passed away. I was sad to hear this. I love this band. I actually stumbled across their release after it came out while I lived in Japan. I didn't know who they were or heard anything from them. I picked it up blindly and it blew me away. I loved it so much I picked up the Rock Candy Records remaster of it and still play it often. Below is post from the band on their webpage. RIP GG and thanks for some great music. August 20, 2019. It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of our brother George “G.G.” Guidotti who succumbed to lung cancer on Sunday, August 18th 2019. He was 57 years old. We met George in the summer of 1987 as we were putting the band together, and our lives would never be the same again. His impact was immediate. Once George joined the band, we knew the five of us would be set for life as brothers no matter what the rock and roll world had in store for us. George took the band’s stage show to the highest of highs. He never settled for anything less than the best for every one of us because he wanted our audiences to leave feeling their expectations were exceeded night after night. No one appreciated the audience more than George. For George, it wasn’t just enough to give it 110% on stage, he never let up off stage as well. If there were people laughing, or a good time was being had around the band, there was no question who was at the center of it all. George. Everywhere he went he was the catalyst for complete and total hilarious, rowdy insanity. But George was also thoughtful and compassionate. He would go to the ends of the earth for people in need. George was not perfect, as none of us are. But with George, he never hid his imperfections. He wore them on his sleeve out in the open for all to see. He was honest about the lifestyle he lived. When told he had lung cancer, he said to all of us, “What the hell did you expect?? I’ve been smoking since I was 10 years old!!” And then he laughed the way he always did. He didn’t want to go. But he knew his time on this earth was going to be cut short. For those who saw the second go ‘round with Heavens Edge, you saw a guy in George who defied aging. He was more energetic in his 50’s than most people are in their 20’s. His smile, ridiculous energy and pure love for being on stage reminded us that the band actually did “make it”. We made it because we found our brothers for life. We made it in the areas that count the most and we have George to thank for that. George “G.G.” Guidotti was a rock star. He didn’t make the money that some do. But he was a rock star just as much as any of them can be. We are going to miss him. Mark, Reggie, Steve and Dave
  7. Has anyone every come across or heard this body of work? It was released in 1999 and consisted of Steve Brown and P.J. Farley (both from Trixter and 40ft Ringo), Maz (40ft Ringo) and Rich ???. There were 5 tracks on it and two untitled bonus tracks. It was an independent release from the band only available in CD-R format. I'm trying to find out what they sounded like and if anyone has one of these available.
  8. I got mine in the mail the other day. It's a grower for me. I'm not a huge fan of the lead vocals. I wish they had someone who had more range. Some of the songs seem to safe. Musically, I love this stuff. It's just a vocal thing for me. It is growing on me more and more with each spin though.
  9. I love these guys and look forward to getting their new release. I've liked the samples that I heard so far. For some reason, this is a band that I have really taken a likening to. I love their sound. It's nothing new but it kicks ass.
  10. Nice. I like the Big City and Panorama tunes. Anyone have a link to their website where I can checkout more and maybe purchase some of their stuff?
