Geoff
One of my favourite modern rock discs of 2012 came from a band who I'd not heard before, but in fact had released a very high quality CD in 2010 also. If you remember a band called Halifax who released a CD called 'The Inevitability of a Strange World' I'd liken their sound to them. Not out of the world amazing, just very good quality, immaculately produced modern rock. Love it. Rivals (2012): 01. Working Class Punx (2:51) 02. Up & Away (4:13) 03. Bonnie & Clyde (The Revolution) (3:57) 04. Lovekills (3:19) 05. Pain (3:50) 06. Rivals (3:58) 07. I'll Be For You (3:54) 08. You Are the Ones (3:55) 09. Diamonds (3:32) 10. Debutante (3:25) 11. Sweet Sweet Revenge (3:24) Causing a Scene (2010): 1. The Best You’ll Get 2. Killing Me 3. Sing It! 4. Little Miss Obvious 5. Heartbreaker 6. Sober Nights 7. Sold Our Souls (To Rock & Roll) 8. Shake U 9. Pretty Things 10. Stargazer/Icebreaker 11. Kiss Like This 12. Hollywood Dreamin’ 13. Gutters & Scissors (Bonus Track) 14.
