Just got back from the gig, and thought I'd share a few pics.

Was it a good show? Are they any good live?

They were bloody amazing.

The Barfly is a tiny place, with probably only the capacity for 100 people or so, but you would have thought it was a much bigger crowd going on the noise.

 

They sound really tight, and are heavier than on record.

Songs like Born to rock, which isnt one of the best songs on the album, really feed on the live format as it was a huge sing along song, and the energy was amazing.

 

You could tell the band were amazed with the reception, and even though its such a small venue, they seemed genuinly taken back that it sold out, especially on a Monday night.

Pleased they're getting some attention. I'm seeing them at Download (which is the gig that helped catapult Steel Panther into the limelight) so hopefully they can coat-tail the popularity of SP...

The band have been posting links to reviews all day, and the reviews are all saying that the band are brilliant live, and should be going on to bigger and better things.
