Not sure if anyone caught this last night but it's replaying over and over.

I'm glad this is finally getting aired even though it took place in April.

It would of been nice to see the Black Carpet interviews since it was one of Dio's last. It was also nice that Dio won vocalist of the year and VH1 Classic did a dedication to Dio which was very cool IMO. Plus there's a special Dio special on this afternoon as well.

 

As far as the award show goes it's not the best put together thing ever and you can tell it was edited like crazy and would of been nice to see it in full. Maybe next year they can get some better production and cut out some of the cheesy stuff with Andrew WK and Chris Jericho.

I caught a little bit of it mainly cuz I wanted to see Dio's award acceptance (being that it was his last public appearance before his death)... rest of it didn't do much for me. Very cheap looking show.
