It came out here on Friday so I've had a little longer to listen to it. I'm a little dissapointed but it is growing on me. I prefer her more up tempo stuff which is slightly lacking on this album although the last track fits the bill there.

Whe Pigs Fly. Not an awful track but I have a horrible feeling I remember it going south from here.

Hmmmm.......she's "learning fast"???  BUT...she knows enough about which CDs to copy?

Thats what I thought. I mean I know none of those cds cost $12. I just someone not too long ago with a Cinnimon--Eat It cd and it price a little over the hundred dollar mark. Thanks for the input, guys.

Usually CRC problems are game over. I've had one or two cd's I've burned do it. I have had it where some of the tracks work though.

If you were going to burn somebody wouldn't you just not send? Perhaps he's just burned the disks too fast for the media?

I never got this band so I've not listened to this for 15 years. It's growing on me...

Ok, I think somebody else has already reported this guy in to ebay. As of today he has been NARU'd (with 0 feedback).

 

Luckily, I haven't sent my payment out yet. I was waiting to see if something like this was going to happen.

 

What are some of your guys opinions on what I should do. Obviously this is the same guy who is selling the same batch of cd's and not delivering the goods. I just don't want him leaving me a negative feedback for not paying.

What is e-bays policy on NARU regarding allowing the user to post feedback. It would seem somewhat strange for somebody's account to be suspended and then still allowed to give feedback. Having said that e-bays policies on a few things are a bit strange.

I'm very proud of my 100% feedback but I think I would let it slip a little if I was clearly going to lose any significant amount of money.

You keep saying this guy. Is it his original account that has been suspened? If so and your confident it's the same guy then a second account is clearly against e-bays policies and if I were you I would get in touch with e-bay. If it's the account he used for your purchase I wouldn't be sending anything.

Your absolutely right, sellers should be stating the items they are selling are Russian pressings, and not just use the word "import" in the listing. Im really shocked to read elsewhere on the net that people really dont give two hoots in hell if the disc is a Russian pressing, as long as they are getting it dirt cheap. This really hurts the US seller who obviously cannot compete with those prices, considering like you mentioned a Nuclear Blast US issue is $8.50 wholesale here in the states. I would be very curious to see what all these sellers on ebay are paying for these bad boys at wholesale. Probably a real steal.

 

People are popping up everywhere on ebay now selling these things..As you stated, smart to always dig through a sellers feedback to look for buyers who were not happy about a Russian pressing..

Welcome to the real world. No different from arguments about cheap clothes, food, toys etc from the east. We love our cheap clothes but don't think about the impact on our own economy of buying them.

There are supposedly regulations in place (not for sale outside baltic states. etc) to try and prevent it but clearly that has no effect.

The emerging countries clearly have an advantage in the global economy at the moment but stopping the tide of the global economy is just not going to happen. These people want foreign currency and this is an easy way of obtaining it.

The question is what happens if you implement protectionistic policys. In Germany there is a lot of protectionism and the answer is simple. People go over the borders to buy petrol, medicin and anything else that they can find cheaper. Not only that but the price of 'home grown' goods goes up and in the long term you lose out. 11 percent unemployment.

I usually buy cassettes so the couple dollars I spend on a tape doesn't bother me that much. The more expensive it is the more ticked off I get. I've been burned by sellers who claim stuff is new or in mint condition. I got a Slaughter shirt that said good condition and it was falling apart. All kinds of other messed up stuff too. That is the only bad thing about Ebay. People can make up anything they want to and they don't have to back it up.

It's a big flaw in the system that people don't give negative feedback for fear of getting it back. That's what allows this to happen. The impression I get is that things are getting worse as E-Bay get's bigger.

Ticket sales are very poor and they are starting to get worried it is going to be a fizzer.

I think you will see more supporters for the World Team as the interest in this just does not seem to be there.

I really hope this tournament dies a quick death. It's an exibition series and I expect there to be some good entertaining cricket but the passion that defines top level sport will not be there.

I'm actually looking forward to the one dayers but this 6 day test match? No thanks.

Anybody know anything about Gottdiscs. As they are the guys that re-released Vain - No Respect, I assume(d) they are ligit and above board.
