  1. Actually bud, it's their 4th release....sort of. Their first album was a S/T indie release. Has the same band lineup as 'Four Winds'. Track List: 1. Paradise 2. Get Away 3. Look What You've Done 4. Call Me Up 5. In City 6. Bijou Starlite 7. One More Time 8. Tangier 9. Lately I Don't Know Don't go overboard looking for it if you don't have it. It's really not that good.
  2. I understand Jay...no hard feelings here. With all the stuff about Retrospect going around (especially the latest...Sweet Teaze scandal) I can understand why you would be skeptical. To be honest with you...I don't know what to think anymore. I do know for a fact that all the proper channels were followed in regards to the Manila Thrills release, so you don't have to worry about your purchase. Michael and his bandmates ARE getting their royalties. As far as any other band Sam is selling I can't vouch for them. Rest assured that you haven't screwed anyone by buying Manila Thrills. I would NEVER have put all the info on this site about the reissue if I wasn't 100% sure it was legit. I consider all of you my friends, and I wouldn't screw my friends like that. Scott
  3. I am typing on my keyboard...right now.

  5. Sure the fuck is. I was tired of sitting on that fucking train for 11+ hours. It was fun running though wasn't it?
  6. The Press release for Manila Thrills: From Retrospect Records : We are excited to announce the much-awaited re-issue of Manila Thrills 'Tomorrow's Waiting'. Originally released in 1990 on cassette only, this melodic hard rock collector's edition has been digitally re-mastered for cd and beefed up with an addition of FOUR previously unreleased bonus tracks. Manila Thrills features a powerful vocal performance by Michael Beck, stunning razor-sharp axework , and hi-octane hooks that signify the pinnacle of 80s Hair Metal / Hard Rock. Here's what people are saying... TC Record Review- "This is a guitar band that rocks with the attitude of early Sammy Hagar. The track "Just Gotta Go" deserves regular rotation on any station. If you only have time for one song, skip to this cut immediately. I guarantee you will play this song again." City Limits- "All the natural ingredients for hook & line are apparent. The opening off the wall guitar arpeggio takes you by surprise with curiosity of what lies ahead. A very solid release indeed." The Note- "Vocal, guitar driven & overall very mid-western stylistically with elements of Queensryche, Warrant & even the same things that made Reo Speedwagon a household name." Go to www.retrospectrecords.com today , listen to sound clips , and be one of the first to own a copy of this melodic hard rock treasure! Sam McCaslin CEO/President Retrospect Records
