  1. Every Time I Think of YOU - The Babys
  2. Price for the Manila Thrills cd will be $12.99 + $2 shipping. 11 songs. 7 original tracks + 4 previously unreleased tracks. Silver pressed discs with all tracks remastered by Michael Beck. I've heard the cd should be available today, or tomorrow.
  3. You are very welcome Bernd. I haven't heard any info on a price yet. Michael sent me an email yesterday saying that Sam told him the cd's were done, so we should find out here very soon. Hopefully this week.
  4. As far as Manila Thrills goes, yes. I don't know what else Sam has coming out in the near future. I'm just curious about who's buying the MT release.
  5. I've got some samples of their music Swazi. PM me your email and I'll shoot you a couple if you'd like.
  6. Dream Theater - Awake With: 'Falling Into Infinity', and 'Images and Words' on deck.
  7. With the release of 'Manila Thrills - Tomorrow's Waiting' happening very soon I figured I'd get the views of the people on here. I'm really excited about this one, and I'm hoping others are also. With all the hype about this one, and the mp3 samples I've sent to people I figured it was poll time. I'm sure you all know how I voted. Let me know peeps!!! Thanks, M.
  8. Watched three yesterday: The Fog (2005 remake): Better than I thought it was going to be. I love the original, so this one had me worrying. Some elements of the original were there, but also a fresh take of the story of revenge. I enjoyed the scenes which took place in the past...it was nice to see what happened instead of just characters talking about it. Great ghost effects, and Selma Blair is a hottie in this movie. **Recommended...even for die hard fans of the original.** The Cave: Also better than I thought it would be. The effects in some scenes were a bit spotty, but the story was decent and the acting was good. A buyer? No. **Recommended for a rental, or pay-per-view** Madagascar: Our neighbor let us borrow this one. If you have kids this is a movie that the whole family can enjoy. Kids will love the cute furry critters, and adults will catch some of the humor that kids will miss. (Sugar Honey Iced Tea). The voice acting is well done, and the animation is great also. The penguins steal the entire show, and the monkeys will have you in stitches. A great story about being careful what you wish for. **Recommended for the whole family**
  9. Underworld was a good movie. I enjoyed the werewolves mostly because they were actually costumes, and not over-the-top computer effects like Van Helsing. To be honest I completely forgot about Dog Soldiers. I was very impressed with the effects in this movie, and the story was different and cool also. Sean Pertwee is such a good actor. The werewolves looked more like actual wolves which was very cool. I'm adding this one to my must buy DVD list right now. Thanks for reminding me about it.
  10. Let me just state for the record that I have had very little dealings with Sam directly, so all I can attest to is what others have told me. First of all, I have purchased 3 discs from Sam. As mentioned above, other than the artwork being a tad bland the overall products were excellent. As I'm sure most (if not all) of you are aware I have been talking with Michael Beck for several months now. He was the singer for Manila Thrills. Sam is reissuing this disc for Michael. Should be out this week as a matter of fact. Michael has told me that everything that was done by Sam was very professional. Sam contacted Michael, drew up a legal contract, and even agreed to put the Manila Thrills release on silver pressed discs per Michaels request. Michael has said that Sam has taken good care of him and his bandmates, and that he has faith in Sam as a businessman, and faith in the final product. So it seems like the whole legal thing is on the level. Now, if Sam puts out a quality product with this reissue then we have definitive proof of Sam's dealings being on the level in at least one instance. I for one don't know Sam or what he has done in the past (if anything), but if the MT release is a finely done reissue then Sam has won me as a customer for life. I'm believing the final MT product will be up to par with Metal Mayhem, and SunCity releases. If not...well then Sam will have lost me as a customer. Not because of my opinion of him, but because of the final product he puts out. I guess we'll find out here in a few days. M.
  11. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cursed Don't bother. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My sentiments exactly. The movie was fairly decent until the werewolf gave Christina Ricci the middle finger, and said "Bitch!!" I shut the movie off then and there. Being a huge werewolf fan I was totally disappointed by this one. My fav werewolf movies (in no particular order): An American Werewolf In London The Howling (original one...all others have sucked) Bad Moon Stephen King's Silver Bullet
  12. "So in the middle of the night or the early morning light you can hear them comin' your way Well you better watch your step, don't step out of line Cause here they come one more time."

  15. American Beauty is one of those films that really surprised me. Excellent from start to finish. Some of Spacey's best work to date.
  16. Blue Tears - S/T Man does this bring back some memories.
  17. Kevin, are you interested in having Kidd Wikkid reissued? I've heard great things about the album, but refuse to pay $300+ for it. There are alot of us music fans who would love to see KW get a proper reissue.
  18. Thanks for the info mate. I'll add that one to my want list.
  19. Is that a good CD Nick? I'm thinking of buying the reissue.
