I agree JL, to me whether the accident is true, doesn't really matter, the fact is that all the reissue talk is just a big fat lie, I mean his famed Hurricane reissues that he was always talking about, obviously are horseshit, according to mike who talked with Jay, who also confirmed with Kelly Hansen, so everything else may or maynot be true, he should have named his label, NEVER GET YOUR SHIT RECORDS! lol.... Exactly! And if it is true, which I still believe it isn't, then karma has a way of coming back to you. Don't confuse what I am saying. I would never wish hurt/ death upon anyone, even Lon. But I am a firm believer that what comes around goes around. The truth here is that he extorted money from people who thought they were friends with him. He used us, lied to us & now hides. Straight off the press...... HURRICANE RE-ISSUES NOT ALL THAT THEY SEEM: Plenty of mail regarding the Hurricane re-issues being advertised at various online retailers and primarily by the company re-issuing them. Unfortunately the band themselves are not aware of this re-issue, nor any of the songs that are listed as supposed bonus tracks! This leads to only one conclusion... However, there are further complications, with the same company also advertising advance release information for several other re-issue titles including Jim Jidhead, Robert Tepper and Valentine. There are questions over all of these and I have been in contact with a couple of the artists already. I await further information and official comments, which I hope to present to you in the next day or so. I would advise at this time to avoid placing any orders for the advertised CDs until the artists comment officially about this. Additionally, AOR Heaven, who I mentioned as stocking the Hurricane re-issues, do not have stock of these titles as they have not arrived as promised by the company and the situation remains unresolved. Stay tuned...

Guys, I cannot even describe how I feel right now. I am so SHOCKED. I have stood up for, went to bat for & done anything I could to help Lon out. I feel completely stupid for not seeing this sooner. Needless to say I filed two claims with Paypal (one for each order) and pray I get my money back. Even more so, I am disappointed that the cd's are not coming out....and even more disappointed to find out a friend is nothing more than a fraud... JL

Regardless, Dave, I'm glad you and yours are ok. Vans can be replaced, people not so much. I hope Lon is ok, both from a physical and psychological standpoint. I've received some communication behind the scenes that tells me we need to get to the bottom of this ASAP. I have PM'ed Lon/David to either post or email the specific hospital information, including room number, both for those who wish to send their best wishes, and to verify that this is indeed what's going on. -Dan Smart thinking Dan...this would solve a lot of questions.
