Sorry... I keep wanting to give Lonnie the benefit of the doubt, but the car accident thing gets in the way....

The ONLY other thing that could have POSSIBLY happened, was that Lonnie was relying on someone else to set up the deal and get the cd's autographed and such, and he was only the middleman. He sets up the site and collects the money, only to find out that the first guy had no business reissuing anything at all, and Lonnie was left holding the bag, BUT...... Still.... Why the lie about the car wreck?

The funny thing is, when I called PayPal to report the claim, the girl on the other end was suprised that all this was over a few cd's by bands most have never heard of. I had to explain to her that some people collect stamps, some baseball cards, etc.... And then explained that some cd's are only pressed in small batches and when they're sold, they're done, so value goes up. Then she kind of understood. Many of my friends don't seem to udnerstand the collecting of cd's thing either. We're a weird bunch.....

You keep saying that no one was intentionally taken advantage of, but yet you still made up a lie about a car accident? Do you really expect people to believe you after all that? I also doubt that the police would even bother with harrassment charges on your part after so many people have called PayPal and the police department about you. No matter what is done or said, we still considered you a friend and you should have come forward right away when problems arose from the supposed Hurricane deal or whatever. Well.... "IF" the $$$ amount of the supposed scam gets too high as well as the federal part, there could be some prison time..... I hope for Lonnies sake this is all a HUGE misunderstanding. I'm not going to put in the guilty verdict yet until he comes forward and explains himself, but as of right now... All signs point to.....

Indeed; I think subconciously that's why I didn't order anything from him...I was waiting for the glowing reports from other members to come pouring in before I sent the ol $$$ his way. Also, something else to note about the RnR Records website...if you look around on it, you'll find NO contact info of any kind. NO email address, NO mailing address, NOTHING. The only thing there is the automated Pay Pal process set-up to take in the $$$ www.freewebs.com/lrc72316 Mike PayPal has been notified and the website was reported to them as well as the possibility of fraud on many levels. They are going to investigate.
