  1. So does Koogles actually have PJs stock, or has he just listed it for him?

The reason PJ's rep had taken a beating over the last little while was the slow as hell shipping, if he did ship it at all. I'd imagine Koogles has the cd's with him, because I'm sure he wouldn't take a chance and sell under the great name that is Endangeredcds and hope PJ ships the cd's.

    exactly what I was thinking

I think you are wrong, coz on the endangeredcds items info it says: "please do not combine items from auctions and the store" so I guess the stock from those is at two different locations and cannot be combined.

  2. This is my favourite part from Dan's Ebay page. :rofl2:

    * No shipments to the following countries: Abkhazia, Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola (including Cabinda), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Benin, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Chechnia, China, Congo, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Georgia, Ghana, Guinea - Bissau, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Moldova, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, OFAC Restricted Countries, Oman, Pakistan, Papua/New Guinea, Paraguay, Qatar, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Yemen, Zaire, and Zimbabwe.

You would get killed in most of these countries if you got caught listening to the music Dan sells. In the list above I've sold to Mexico, Russia, China and Brazil. Each time I cringed when the auction was over and had to ship to those countries.

Iraq and Afghanistan!!! Curious to know if we could actually ship out to US, Bristish, Canadian or other soldiers out in those places? I figure they don't much time to rock out.

    Wow! what a list! :)

The only conutry I'm thinking of banning and never shipping to is Israel. I dont know if it was my rotten luck or what, but I've had like 5 orders going there in the past two months, and nothing but troubles every time.

  3. Since last May US Postal Services changed their system a bit and renamed the services. Ground/Boat services got discontinued, International Airmail letter post service became Airmail Priority, and Airmail Parcelpost became International First Class.

What most international buyers fail to unserstand is, registration in USA costs a flat rate of $10.15 ON TOP on the actual postage. Elsewhere in the world it costs like 2-3 euro maximum, here in USA it costs $10.15, and thus makes "safer" small packages extremelly overpriced.

I think you will agree with me that if a seller starts asking $14 for shipping one CD to anywhere, everyone will call him a rip-off, right? Well, that's what exactly it will cost ($4 Airmail for 4oz package + $10.15 registration). And if the package is not registered, the seller really cannot do much to help you out.

What I want to say is, I tend to side with the seller a bit here when he says that you, the buyer, should be responsible for asking for special safer shipping option, if you think it is needed. Otherwise the package is at the mercy of the postal services and blaming the seller for the loss is not very fair.

  4. You should tell them to get a proper release for it , with all the reissue labels out there, it shouldnt be too hard.

Maybe they are one of those bands like Galaxy Group for example, which sit on their unreleased albums from 1994 in hope someone will pay them $100,000 in advance cash for it... It is their music of course and they are entitled doing whatever pleases them to do, but if the album leaks the way this one did on eBay big time - then yeah, the best would be to go and release it asap... but then again, it may be owned by the record company, so they dont have much to say, even if they personally want to see it released.

  5. Well, they can sign for VeRO and nuke off that auction for a start I guess: http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/vero-rights-owner.html

There are three very basic steps how to sign for VeRO on the page above, so anyone entitled to it can do it.

I agree with the dude it is ridiculous to bid $2,000+ for it, unless you are a bootlegger planning to make hefty profit from it. Hopefully the high bidder is just a fan and will keep it for himself.

  6. Wow... I hope whoever buys it gets it transferred and released!

Buying this "back-up" copy of the master reels doesnt grant you any rights releasing or commercially exploiting it whatsoever. It is just an expensive good-quality (assuming it is what it says it is) 1-st gen copy from the masters for personal use, nothing more. The copyrights over the album, as well as the master usage rights belong to whoever owns them, band and label most probably.

  7. HOW ABOUT $35.00 FOR THIS GROUP ON A RECORDED CASSETTE WITHOUT ART BY FIRST CLASS MAIL WITHOUT SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION?. WHAT IS YOU PAYPAL ADDRESS?. PLEASE REPLY NOW.

Haha, $35 bucks is a good haul for a dubbed copy of some obscure ep. I'd have sold it to him, but not via paypal. The fu#$er knows international parcels w/o signature confirmation are worth shit with paypal, and is preparing to stiffen you. Wait untill he raises the price to $50 and tell him to send m.o. or cash :)

  8. Hard boozes:

RAKIA - distilled from fermented grape mulch, moonshined in our backyard in the autumn

VODKA - Finlandia or Absolut only

TEQUILLA - Jose Cuervo or Sauza, white.

    Beers:

    Staropamen

    Starobrno

    Warsteiner

    Duvel

    Shumensko Pivo

    Pirinsko Pivo

    Non-alcoholic:

    Sparkling water

    Orange, carrot, tomato juice

    Beverages I dont like:

    Whiskey

    Scotch

    Wine

    LIGHT beer - ugh!

  9. i can´t stand are ebay sellers that don´t respond when you ask them question! i would never buy from such a seller!

I agree its bad not responding and dont want to defend such sellers, however, there is one occasion which always pisses me mightly: when a buyer sends me question via eBay, and DISABLES his e-mail!

So when I receive his question, which comes to my e-mail, and try replying to it, instead to the buyer my answer goes to: clicktheyellowbutton@ebay.com... and I have to go, log on to ebay, navigate to my conrtol panel and respond again from there. It doesnt take so much time really, but for some reason always annoys me to no end.

  10. who are they? are they putting out bootlegs that are well done? do they have a web page?

Oh come on, not again :rofl2:

Do a search, there has been plenty of topics discussing Rock-it and all other Italian and Spanish "import" labels.

Maybe Dan should pin a topic on top with a list of all cheap-ass CDR knock off labels, so the community will know where to find the info easily.

  11. Let me guess: it's been a while since you logged in to leave comments (like before I changed the ratings system?). I had to change what is stored in your browser. Clear your cookies for heavyharmonies.com, log in again, and all should be well.

P.S. I edited your post to remove the information you gave there, since it is actually your password, albeit encrypted.

    Pff, that was funny, thanks!

But why my password would show up in place of my username? Wasnt this ****** my encrypted username as stated in the login message "the username ****** is already logged in..."

P.S. shut! I'm retard - I did check my e-mails and sure this ****** was my password :hammer:

Dan, could you change my password and mail it to me please. Sorry for the inconvenience

  12. I went to the site today and then to the login page, where I was greeted by this message:

    "****** Already Logged In

You are already logged in as username ******, so you can go ahead and leave comments on the comments pages. If you want to log out, click"

Now, I have no idea who this ****** is and how I ended being logged to their account :yikes: any help please?

  13. Well, I won vegascds eBay auction, paid $ 60 USD for the CD + $ 15 for reg. shipping, and I received a bootleg today... Very nice! Just curious, does anybody know who this seller is?

Is it a sliver-pressed bootleg, or CDR?

OMR (Old Metal Records) has been releasing some of the Laaz Rockit back catalog on semi-official basis (band approved, but not legally sound), on silvepressed CDs (with quite minimalistic booklets, but for dirt-cheap prices - $6.50 wholease).

So make your mind - I'd say anything over $10-15 for this CD would be a rip-off, considering it is either OMR, or CDR boot... in any case, hate to say it, but since "vegascds" has been a hot topic on this forum for ages, it is completely your fault for falling into their bootleg sales.. .take a note for next time ;)

  14. All I'm going to say is that I am not going to give out his/her personal information until I get my money back. Why would I burn my bridge (not that it's much of one anyway) of getting my money back. I'm not sure if pissing someone off is a good tactic on getting what you want. I'm not trying to be fishy about things, and I sure as hell don't want this CD-R bullshit to go on any longer than it has to (that is why I posted this thread in the first place) I've got paypal going over the whole transaction right now, and I want my side of things to be as clean as possible when paypal makes their decision.

... and if you cant get your money back you wont reveal his/her info so other people can fall into the same scheme too, right. Great thinking man, kudos
