FISCHEL's BEAST is the new project of the ex-SENTINEL BEAST axeman Barry Fischel. Commencement is their debut release, solely consisting of material written in 1987 for the second SENTINEL BEAST album, which due to the band's untimely demise never got released previously.
Anyhow, you should know what to expect: a classic, oldschool, intense US power/speed metal in the vein of Sentinel Beast (obviously), early Vicious Rumors, Savage Grace, and Slauter Xstroyes just to name a few.
Special guest: Criss Caffery (Savatage / Trans-Siberian Orchestra) playing solos on Forbidden Territories and Fate of Kings
To be released on Stormspell Records at the end of May / early June

Nafuckoff farted two easy goals between the legs as usual, but the Sharkies were lucky and managed to jump the gun in OT one more time. Still it is a horrible agony to watch such determined team playing their hearts out to get busted day in and day out by an ultra-lame-ass goalie... ugh!
-
The bloody Sharks got quacked twice in a row. With a mighty retard like Nafuckoff on goal their season is going to end on Thursday... bleh
-
I have no idea what "these" are. I was talking in general.
-
Since the new Greek bootlegs seem to come with correct matrix numbers and are getting very hard to spot, I'd say the only way to avoid buying a boot is shopping at trusted vendor only. A good place to buy with confidence is Sentinel Steel - Denis always does his homework and his stock is as genuine as it could be.
-
Danger were great band in their pre-sleaze period. I doubt they'd play songs from their first two album though...
-
What player are you talking about or is it my firefox fucked up once again?
-
I can take "PLEASE REPLY NOW OK" all day, but when someone finishes their post with "DISCUSS NOW!" my fuse blows up big time
-
Has anybody here have had any dealings with the greek seller SORTILEGE81 he has 100% feedback but I am alittle concerned that he's selling bootlegs? any comments? thanks in advance!
I believe SORTILEGE81 is our very own Nebuchadnezzar here. I'm sure he will respond as soon as he sees this topic

One of 6X' demo was awesome. Too bad they never released anything afterwards...
The best recent band from Texas is/was ANCIENT CROSS... unfortunately their debut CD never came out either...
-
Was this ATTAXE best of ever released? It was due to be out on Auburn Records in 2006, but I havent seen it for sale anywhere...
-
It is their music and their decision, which I can respect. I only wish they would have spent 10 seconds telling me this when I asked.
Anyway, I'm the first to admit I'm the smallest of the small indy labels and I'm in no position offering like 5-digit checks at this time. Regardless though, I do like to believe that for the size of my operation I do offer very fair deals which are on par with bigger established labels as Sentinel Steel for instance. Getting Anacrusis on my roster is somewhat a testimony to that, as they were quite big and renowned in their heyday.
What's funny with Teachers Pett situation is that they didnt even hear my offer. I shoot them a short introductory e-mail asking if they would be interested in reissuing their 80s demos on CD and offering to send them a sample pack of my current releases to check out. They never responded to this so I never had a chance telling them what I can offer.
Anyhow, as I said it is their decision. I hope they can find a suitable label for them, as I'd love to have their CD in my personal collection too.

no problemo bate, take your time. and when will be availiable the jonah quizz stuff? i didn't see any press release for it yet....zdravei bate...
JONAH QUIZZ is almost ready to go. We have remastered both demos and they sound KILLER! 9 scorching songs of great Scandinavian MHR. The only thing needed is band story/lyrics which Anders is working on as we speak and DaN should be translating shortly. Hopefully this will be wrapped up soon and will be released with next batch of releases, as soon as late March or thereabouts.

Mr. Stormspell we need desperately Teachers Pett on cd!!!!!
http://www.myspace.com/teacherspettband
I've tried to contact Teachers Pett in the past but they never responded to my inquiries. However, at some point they contacted Patrick Stevens and told him they are considering my offer, so at least I know they've got my messages. Anyway, this was more than an year ago, so I assume their interest never transpired - fine with me. The one thing I hate is people which cannot spare 1 minute responding to an e-mail, so I probably would not have liked working with them anyway.

3 full songs of each release added: http://www.stormspell.com/label -> click on the album thumbnails on the right (you need to have flash-enabled browser)
P.S. if you like female-fronted power/sympho metal, please check NATURAL SPIRIT audio samples. I guarantee you'll be for a very nice surprise.

Eh bate, at the moment it all sums up to: so many potential releases, so little cash
BTW I still havent had chance to look into the DV you recommended to me earlier, sorry about that.

i know i keep harping on about this, but hows it looking for the Pretty Angels release? is it dead in the water or just really delayed?
i found mp3s of the album and i really like it, would be a shame if it never got reissued....but it was announced 18 months ago so i dont have particularly high hopes for it
Yeah, sorry for not posting info on this earlier. The story regarding STRANGER is very simple really: I licensed this album from Battle Cry with the assurance that Ricky Rieger is interested in seeing this release through and would be providing liner notes, lyrics, and extra materials to spice the release up. However, as of today nothing has transpired. Releasing it "as-is" is not an option I'd consider, so all I could do at this point is wait and hope the things will start moving...
-
Mark, you are okay, the individual pages for all releases with info and sound samples will be launched a bit later tonight. I'm working on them right now, will post links asap. My apologies for the confusion!
Meanwhile, some samples can be heard at our gayspace page: http://www.myspace.com/stormspellrecords

The only one of those bands that I recognize is Anacrusis, but I enjoyed their later material. How well produced is this early material or is it basically demo quality?
Thanks,
-Dan
It is demo quality as it was recorded by the band themselves on a 4-track tascam machine at Kevin's basement where they used to practice. The original tape was lost and a 1st gen copy (heavily used to dub all tapes they used to sell in the late 80s) was all that was left. Kenn Nardi remastered it thoroughly, but the result is still quite raw and unpolished.
I'll be sending you a promo package on monday, hope you can check it out and share your thoughts.

Friday the 13th, Iron Man, Judge Dredd, Robocop, Superman, Star Trek, GI Joe... Geez, isnt there anything new worth making movies about? I totally fail to comprehend this business of remaking the same ole movies over and over again...

Not aware of any such E Bay policy either. As you know, I've sent CDs to you without the jewel cases as I do many collectors in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. The only problem I've ever run into is a couple of buyers who make outlandish demands on how the CDs are to be packed and protected for shipment. Let's face it.......the jewel case is the piece of the puzzle designed to protect the CD. All the extra protection these particular people demand not only adds to my expense, but adds to the weight which puts us right back to where we were sending with the jewel case. As long as people are not over demanding, I have no problem sending without the jewel cases and I do my best to put them in protective sleeves to avoid scratching and wrap them in bubble wrap to cushion them. If someone should buy a really expensive CD, I would always recommend sending with the jewel case as added protection for the disc.
Totally man, that's the one thing that can let me fly off the handle big time. Having a scrooge buyer trying to negotiate the cheapest shipping possible, and then telling you "...and please pack well!" Yeah right...

If you had a Rubics cube and could solve it without taking off
the colored stickers!!
Would disassembling it in order to solve count?
