  1. Have to agree about the clip, it's disturbing to see his face all the time. I would have done it like a video-story, for example starting with the singer looking old photos of a smiling girl, then showing the singer and the girl together falling in love like flashbacks of their happy relationship, but at the middle of the song the girl begins to act bad, trying drugs and doing things to hurt him; finally he leaves her in the rain while the song ends. Something like that I think would have been more adequate. Love the song, though.
  2. Listened; well, I like it but is clearly below the debut. Glad to hear Atkins still in great fit, it's just the tracks are weaker this time IMO. Favourite track: Walk Me Through The Fire (even being predictable is the catchiest)
  3. True love for 'True Love Awaits You' awaits you, mate. Maybe you'll get 'When Death Is Calling'.
  4. Impossible, I reserve my musical opinions to HH.
  5. Update: Kissin' overcomes W.E.T., and enters Dynazty; bye bye Lucy, see you in the Sky with Diamonds... 1. Kissin' Dynamite 2. W.E.T. 3. Maverick 4. Dynazty 5. Shiraz Lane Also listened: Midnite City, Hank Erixx, Hearts On Fire.
  6. Hmmm, I spoke too soon... Enters in my Top-5.
  7. Not exactly my coup of tea but I suppose could appeal some of you here: http://sleazeroxx.com/play-roughs-self-titled-album-consisting-of-16-songs-released-via-fna-records/
  8. I don't disagree but it's a matter of degrees: to stay with your sound is OK, but there has to be some innovation because when your audience notice your songs are predictable means they are very similar, hence people will become tired or bored soon. On the other hand, if your innovation is too much that you leave your original sound completely, your fans will feel alienated and will retire their support to the band. The ideal point is to be near to the middle. Martenson is in the side of little innovation, and certainly some of his tracks are becoming predictable as Glen said, which is not good. It's not yet a really serious problem but undeniable, IMO. Also the fact that Erik composes for several bands does this more apparent than with other artists. By the way I qualified the debut of Nordic Union as my favorite album of 2016, so not precisely a hater. I like nearly all Erik does but I think it's time for him to evolve his sound a bit.
  9. I'm enjoying this one; not Top-5, ok, but solid.
  10. Well, as you probably know at first didn't like it too much but with each listening had more and more tracks remaining in my head. Now I like it from the start to the end; even the two bonus tracks are great, specially Wild Wind. Has really infecting tunes IMO. In fact to be honest I'm listening this one far more than W.E.T. which rarely play by now.
  11. Minor swap. 1. W.E.T. 2. Kissin' Dynamite 3. Maverick 4. Shiraz Lane 5. No Sleep For Lucy Listened Nitrate, Treat, Sapphire Eyes (like them but not for Top-5), and currently Creye (this one has potential).
  12. +1, good sophomore in the style of the debut.
  13. Glad to hear this, thanks for the info mate!
  14. Oh, shit: Kyle Pavone, vocalist for We Came as Romans, dies at 28 R.I.P.
  15. +1, but I'd want to hear the full track before saying I like it, the sample has left me in the iffy phase; very poppy.
  16. ...then 'njoy the 2018 Track List Summer Edition! ? ? 01. Maverick - Cold Star Dancer 02. W.E.T. - Kings On Thunder Road 03. Shiraz Lane - Tidal Wave 04. Treat - Build The Love 05. Kissin' Dynamite - Still Around 06. Vega - Only Human 07. No Sleep For Lucy - Moments 08. The Night Flight Orchestra - Sometimes The World Ain't Enough 09. Perfect Plan - Stone Cold Lover 10. Station - More Than The Moon 11. Ammunition - Eye For An Eye 12. Odyssey Desperado - Holding On To A Dream (No Ted Poley's track was damned creating this post as seems he doesn't like them in Youtube, only promos).
  17. Kissin' and climbin' (and eatin' my own ears with Ecstasy... ? ). But remember: what happens in Vega... well, you know. 1. W.E.T. 2. Maverick 3. Kissin' Dynamite 4. Shiraz Lane 5. No Sleep For Lucy
  18. Well, don't love it, don't hate it. Just ok song. Liked more "Build The Love". (Thanks for posting the video, mate!)
  19. Thanks for the Big Releases Lists, Glen + The Rocker, is useful to have our radars ready. Seems that this year is not going to be weak after all. Well, better for us! Also don't forget Palace for your lists. And about my Top-5, my ears have to admit that are enjoying Kissin' Dynamite more and more, so it's currently my number 6 and seriously menacing our favourite Vegans. (Have to check that Nitrate thing...)
