  1. I know it's been almost a year since anyone posted about this album, but it's still great! The thing that stuck out from the first time I ever heard it was that Pete Trewavas kicks ass! He totally smokes on 'The Whirlwind'!
  2. Andy's vocals are an acquired taste, IMO. I like the Tangent, but it took me a bit to really get into them. I think the 2 disc version of "A Place..." is great. I love the extra tracks.
  3. Just curious. In addition to metal and hard rock, I love progressive rock, and one niche I love in particular is Italian prog from the 70's. Any fans?
  4. I'm liking the new one. Helloween is usually a sure thing with me.
  5. I'm a Kamelot fan, and it still took me a few spins before it sank in. I love it now, but initially I thought it was just ok. Great band.
  6. That is true, Steve rules live, but when you take away Ratt's flashbombs you still have Warren.
  7. Hmmmm. I love both bands, but I ended up going with Ratt. Ratt has some really tasty riffs in their catalog...
  8. I'm loving this album!!! I got it recently and it really kicks ass. I agree, it's better than Beg For It. Beg For It isn't the best, as a whole, but "Nervous Breakdown" and "Don't Care 'Bout Your Strange Behavour" are killer, IMO.
  9. Tons of great 'D' bands, but there aren't any I listen to as much as D-A-D.
  10. Went with Scorpions. That Saint's & Sinners album kicks ass, though...
  11. Triumph, with Killer Dwarfs right behind 'em. I will say that Kick Axe - Vices is my favorite album from any of these bands, I didn't vote for them because their other albums aren't as good, IMO.
  12. Rainbow. But Ratt is right up there. Someone mentioned Riot; good call. R.I.P - Guy Speranza
  13. I listen to Julliet's s/t cd A LOT, so I went with that.
  14. I went with Casanova, but could have just as easily voted for Crashdiet, Cold Sweat, or Cats In Boots.
  15. The one I've been looking for forever is Pretty Boy Floyd - Bullets and Lipstik. I've seen it online for quite a bit, but have kept saying "I can find it cheaper"... Well, I haven't.
