  1. French day today - loads of good stuff if you can get past the language barrier - I lived there for a couple of years, hence why I listen to this stuff!!! Jean-Jacques Goldman - Entre Gris Clair Et Gris Fonce Jean-Jacques Goldman - En Passent Jean-Jacques Goldman - Rouge Mylene Farmer - L'Autre
  2. Michael White - The White Billy Sheehan - Cosmic Troubadour
  3. Asia - Then & Now Player - Spies Of Life Lordi - The Monsterican Dream Point Blank - On A Roll Speedway Blvd. - S/T
  4. For the music without a doubt. I have a few rareties here and there in my collection, but most are the obvious ones that a few others have. Haven't really bothered about tracking down the 'Rare Indies' as most I have never heard, so wouldn't fork out the big bucks on something I don't know. That being said, if I hear something I like, i'll try to get it. Wouldn't sell any of my main collection either, no matter what!, so if I do track down a goodie it is staying well put!!!
  5. If you like New Order then it's a bloody good one - alot better than the disappointing 'Get Ready' album a couple of years back. Some good tracks throughout, especially the singles.
  6. Billy Sheehan - Cosmic Troubadour New Order - Waiting For The Sirens Call Saga - Images At Twilight China Sky - S/T
  7. Tommy Denander's United Project Aerosmith - Gotta Move
  8. Joe Perry Project - I've Got The Rock 'n Rolls Again Hartman - Out In The Cold Bill Leverty - Wanderlust REO Speedwagon - Hi Infidelity
  9. Rockhead - Totally swear by them mate. Have always delivered a great service since i have been using them - good competative prices aswell, and Simon is a top bloke and knows his stuff!!
  10. Have to agree Dan - thought about re doing the Lets Take off CD myself. When I got mine from Destiny in the uk it did state they were cd-r's so i knew what i was getting. i agree that sellers should inform you what you're getting. I am always wary when getting stuff that are self released cd's from the band themselves, as they often turn out to be cd-r's. Saying that - I don't think the Best Of.. is that bad, as at the end of the day it's the music contained that matters, and this is a good compi of their stuff. Would have been nice to have them properly done, but as i said before better than nothing at all.
  11. Dan - The Airkraft best of... was done by Mitch Viegut from the band and is an official CD-R. I got mine knowing that it was an Official CD-R copy (better than not having it at all). Everywhere I have seen it advertised (Destiny, Aor Heaven etc) it states that it is a CD-R from th band. He also has done the first 2 Airkraft albums the same.
  12. Why do you buy ze Legs Diamond??,only people from Belgium proclaim them the greatest ever band.By the way, what's it like ??? Only heard some soundbytes..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wotty - 'Out on Bail' is a great album, not the best band ever, but definately a goodie. had the vinyl, then got the 20n1 and now the re-issue with bonus tracks. As the comments on the board say, it is only let down slightly by the very 80's sounding electronic drums, but once you get used to them it ain't a prob. Get your wallet out again son.
  13. Hartman - Out In The Cold (This is good - Real good!!!) Soul SirkUS - World Play (Euro Version + DVD) wasn't going to bother seeing as I have the original version, but the draw of the bonus track & DVD made me shell out (the bonus track 'Alive' is great though and the new mix/master does improve on the original) Legs Diamond - Out On Bail (Remaster +3) Again, have the 2on1 with 'Land Of The Gun' but the draw of the bonus tracks made me get this as I collect all of their stuff . The new remaster sounds terrific aswell!!!
  14. Hartman - Out In The Cold Soul SirkUS - World Play (Euro Version)
  15. Mylene Farmer - Avant Que L'Ombre Joe Perry Project -Let The Music Do The Talking
  16. Blue What do you think to the Remastered sound on the Van Halen - I thought they were Bloody awesome when I got them!!Especially 1984.
  17. Jump - Faithful Faithless Does anyone else here know this band - Have known the guys for nearly 10 years now and they have released album after album of quality rock music (This new one being their 11th). They are always bandied around as being a Prog band, but are far from it - more like a classic british rock band with influences ranging from Bad Co. - Marillion (more in the vocal side) Anyway lots of their stuff to check out -Maybe I Should add their albums to the site!!!!!
  18. Ochsenkenecht - S/t Jump - Faithful Faithless Jay Miles - 9 Miles
  19. Heartland - Move On Jay Miles - 9 Miles (Seriously Good West Coast) Liesegang/White - Visual Survaillance Of Extremities
  20. Hey Jez, What do you think of the Fatal Attraction? I had this, hated it, and sold it a year ago or so but have read all the amazing feedback on the comments page and was wondering if I made a mistake selling it? I remember it being ultra-soft and a bit lame... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tim Am waiting for a few more spins until I add my comments to the board as iI don't like to make an opinion on a disc until i'm pretty ok with it. So far I really like it, 'In The Heart Of My Soul' and 'Silver Son' especially. Just my sort of stuff. I don't particularly rate the vocalist, a bit weak on a few tracks, but the overall sound and songs i really like. I need to live with it a little longer though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fair enough, and I do remember the vocalist not being the strongest. On paper it was exactly my sort of thing too, but I'll be interested to see your comments on it. Cheers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tim I also have their debut album - End Of Regulation Time which is really good, although if you didn't like the last one, you may not get on with this either!!!!
  21. Rycheage - Mega album. Do you have their other stuff - Hypothetical especially .One hell of a band!!!!
  22. Hey Jez, I know, I went to the official Eurovision site and played the video. Awesome tune, and cdon.dk had the CD single for about €3 so I got that rather than buy the album again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tim Didn't think about doing that - idiot that I am - never mind too late now - I suppose the original 667...pressing will be a collectors item within time. Anyway now playing:- Heartland - Move On Jay Miles - 9 Miles (You'll have to get this - superb Westcoast stuff)
  23. Tim I agree, but the Wig Wam is a must because of the 'In My Dreams' track, which is a complete monster.
