Re-record the debut? It sounds fine to me. Great album.
-
I really couldn't care less about Journey, I do love them but without S.P. not worth it for me. But to see Whitesnake, that would be awesome! What??
Motherf*ckers!
I'm seeing Journey, Loverboy, and Night Ranger next month, but I'd rather see Whitesnake and Thunder.
I'm not a Journey fan either. I'm going to see Loverboy and Night Ranger. I wish I could exchange Journey for Whitesnake and Thunder.
I'd love to see Loverboy and Night Ranger too but they never come here. America is very lucky.

Journey, Whitesnake & Thunder are touring the UK in 2013. Is anyone going from here? I'm tempted.

No. All their new albums are utterly awful. Stick with the first five albums because you're not missing much on their new stuff.
-
Wow, I'm really surprised by just how good this is. Freak, Outta This World and The Devil Is Me are damned good songs!
-
Quiet Riot. Including the album with Paul Shortino.
-
A stronger album than the last but it has very few hooks making it an average release for me. Radiohead are an awful band intended for pretentious students and as such the cover of their "Street Spirit" was an instant turn off for me as it surprisingly sounded worse than the original.
-
Where is Faster Pussycat's self-titled debut on that list? One of all time favourites!
That said, I went with Kiss.

Butch Walker is the guitar player for Southgang not the singer.Fuck John Waite. What a total fucking wanker. Another singer/musician who jumped on the hair metal bandwagon only to years later, badmouth the scene he was a part of.
That's why I hate Jon Bon Jovi and Butch Walker. Fuck all you assholes.
Agreed, I was just thinking of the Southgang singer but couldn't remember his name. Jon Bon Jovi is tremendously overrated to me. His best songs were written by Desmond Child anyway.
Oh yeah, I stand corrected. The principle stands though.

I love the album personally. I really like Life's A Song.

Another comment like Brian Howe's who said that white singers shouldn't sing rock music or something. Another singer trying to get media attention by saying how much self-loathing he has. Pathetic. I've never listened to any Babys stuff or any solo stuff and I'll continue to listen to both Bad English and Bad Company so John, call me super white for continuing to listen to Bad English and I'll say "fuck you" to you while doing so.

I'm looking forward to the new Loverboy disc.

Thunder's "Dirty Love" has a fair few of these in and I think it works quite well. Two minutes' worth is pretty lazy songwriting though.

Whitesnake guitarist Adrian Vandenberg has slammed the former members of his band Vandenberg for attempting to take over the rights to his surname a second time.
He split the four-piece in 1986 in order to join David Coverdale’s outfit, and insists he was fully in charge of its creative output during their three-album career.
And he’s branded the new action “ridiculous,” “far-fetched” and “cheesy”.
Vandenberg says: “Before joining my close friend David Coverdale in Whitesnake, I had my own band under my own name, which I founded, wrote all the music and lyrics for, made the album covers, designed the logo etc etc.
“Here comes the surreal part: a year ago I got summoned by a lawyer representing the three guys I invited to play in my band, trying to claim my own name and trying to prohibit me from using my own name through a lawsuit. Now how bizarre is that?
“Singer Bert Heerink, bassist Dick Kemper and drummer Jos Zoomer, each of them not having achieved anything worth mentioning in 27 years, are now trying to piggyback on the name and reputation I was fortunate enough to build through years of working my ass off.
“A sad situation indeed – since I always thought these guys were friends.”
Vandenberg says Heerink’s position in the case was “even more pathetic” since he’d been fired from the band in 1985, and points out they lost their lawsuit when it came to court.
But he reveals they’re trying again, this time through a trademark dispute.
“It’s basically like when you invite a couple of people for a ride on the back seat of your new car, then these passengers claim your car is now theirs,” says the guitarist. “Some people have no shame.”
He’s promised to keep fans updated about what he calls “this surrealistic but actually sad soap.”

Didn't they reunite in 2004 or something?
-
Both bands should have stopped after Vicious Circle which was their last great album...
Also, I'd like to see Guns reunite with Lewis at some stage.
-
Fire & Ice is my favourite from this one.
-
Sad news.
-
Once Bitten as it has All Over Now on it.
-
I didn't know they were still around. I remember this one song which hurt my ears back in the day. Not my cup of tea at all and a bit too "alternative."

I'd say Britny Fox was another band whose second album didn't come close to the quality of the first, but it seems to be a highly thought of release round these parts...
The first one is average. Only a few good songs and that awful Save the Weak. The second and third ones were miles better.

Is that JJT with Jimmy Crespo going to be released on CD?

Sorry for the tangent but I e-mailed the site and got no answer.
