Don't Lie To Me has the greatest Dokken intro. In My Dreams comes a close second.

Great album.
Bits and pieces

This album was Ok but not brilliant. Lick It Up and Million To One are great.

Runaround was COMPLETELY butchered. At least it makes the real one sound like heaven. There was no verse or anything just Weiland spinning around slurringly spitting out the word "around" like he's high on smack.
Velvet Revolver are OK but by no means are they the legends everyone hypes them up to be. Slither is quite good but the rest of them are mediocre at best and I'm no fan of Slash anyway. I prefer Axl's new band.

I know may be new on this forum ut I'm by no means new to music.
Van Halen + Sammy Hagar was like a match made in heaven almost akin to beng a supergroup.
Sam's vocals are just so much more melodic and soulful than DLR's wailing. The songs they wrote together were amazing just check out Mine All Mine on OU812.
I'll always hope that Sam and Eddie bury the hatchet and reunite at some point.
I put 5150 for Sam and VHII for DLR.
VHII is slightly better than the first with greats like Somebody Get Me A Doctor and DOA!

OK I've just done a quick tally of those who have answered so far. The results are:
Bryan Adams
Yes=14
No=7
Unclear Response=2
Richard Marx
Yes=12
No=8
Unclear response=1
Majority should win but I realise this is a lost cause...
It's been fun to see the argument though!
Give an extra vote to the yes camp on both of them. Cher = NO however. What hypocrisy refusing Adams but allowing Shania Twain and wanting Cher. What next? "Do you believe in love" by cher too?

I've never heard BTB or ultraphobic and have no desire to. I like both bands but Warrant is and will always be my favourite!
I like both of those albums but Ultraphobic is by far superior and well worth getting IMO.
I heard those two were alternative and I have the live album by Warrant which features some of the songs from Ultraphobic and I don't like them. I like Born Again a lot though.
I'll eventually get round to getting those two but there are LOADS of better ones I could get at the moment!

I love Dokken a lot but Ratt are just a few inches ahead of them for me.
So ratt it was! :-)

The first album by far wins out!
I was hooked on the first listen.
The second album needs a lot more getting into I think though is still good. It's silimar to Warrant's Dog Eat Dog. Different but still good but in no way as good as the previous ones.

I was wondering if any of these groups/performers belonged on the site or not. I'm guessing most of these don't qualify, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask:
Jimi Hendrix
The Rolling Stones
The Who
The Cars
Fleetwood Mac
Joe Jackson
Motorhead (probably BrutalMetal material)
In a word: no. I know it's splitting hairs, especially since Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple are already here, but all the classic rock stuff makes me hurl. Next thing you know it will be full of Cream, Traffic, CCR, Eric Clapton, etc.
I'd sooner remove Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple than open those doors... (no Doors either!).

The Who and the Rolling Stones have R&B influences and I don't like them. Eric Clapton and Cream i think belong on here.

Bang Bang got me hooked from the first listen. Turn It On comes a close second.
