Just without him then? When I come to think of it I read that a while back before he stopped the last tour.
And it makes sense that Dino is with the band as vocally he is often compared to a cross between Cov and Dio.

It is a bummer of course but totally understandable. TBH if I was Skid Row I'd be looking up Dino Jelusick as the longterm replacement. That guy has the chops and the charisma needed.
Sure he is a member of Whitesnake at the moment

I don't think anyone can be angry about this (or I hope not, but this is 2024 after all). The man's been through a lot, and has done a lot despite his health issues.
Yeah, as someone who went through similar to him a year later, I fully support his decision. I will always be under the docs as well, but I think I have one big benefit over Erik in that my stem cell transplant used my own cells, where as I believe he had donor cells which probably means he might have to take immune suppressents which I don't. And even considering all that, I still have to be very careful which is why I no longer work full time, and even if I get slightly ill I am supposed to get checked out. Can't imagine the stress he has put his system under by touring.

I totally get it, but damnit I was looking forward to hearing a follow-up to “The Gang’s All Here”. I wonder what the Skids will do now? Might we see them bring in a female vocalist if Lzzy is well received? 🤔
I think Lzzy has the right chops as a temp replacement as her cover of Slave proves, but I can't see a lot of female vocalists being able to pull off a lot of their stuff due to how varied it is. Maybe it's time to bite the bullet and reunite with Seb and Rob for one last hurrah.... yeah, I am delusional, I know.

He did a Q&A a little while ago where he said moving to the USA was not gonna happen due to needing to be home in Sweden for healthcare, something he would not be able to afford in the USA, so realistically speaking it was always going to be difficult for him to stay with them long term with regards to touring. Recording is easy enough remotely, but you can't tour remotely.
He shot his shot, and got to spend time as a member of one of his fave bands, so nobody can begrudge him that.

She's quite hot, how bad could it be?
I gave it a listen.
I don't like being negative, but it's a Fucking Disgrace. How does shit like this get produced?
Not only that, but how can anybody actually like that shit and post it intentionally for other "fans"?

This song was an abomination, unfortunately my Mum loved it and bought the single.
I'm going off on a bit of a tangent, or two in this thread, but Angry's second album produced "Bound For Glory".
BTW Doggy, I was actually at Waverley during the infamous "Batmobile" incident.
Another "Neighbours" related track around the same time was "Memories" by "V Capri".
It was Mike and Jane's theme song. Another track my Mum loved that prompted her to get the album on cassette.
Talking about Rose Tattoo, the cover of "Rock N Roll Outlaw" by Keel is perfection.
Ah, funny you should mention that Keel cover, Alexx Michael of Shameless posted a cover of that song yesterday by a female artist that is absolutely atrocious. I was trying for the life of me to remember who did the original as all I could remember was LA Guns did a cover of it.
I beg forgivness for posting this, but its so horrible that I think everyone needs to hear it

This is one of those weird ones where an artist went an entirely different route musically. Rose Tattoo released the album Beats from a single drum in 1986 which was a total change from their AC/DC style rock sound to a smoother, more AOR/pop rock sound. The album was re-released three years later as an Angry Anderson solo album after this song was famously used in 1988 as the wedding song in Aussie soap opera, Neighbours and actually scored Angry a huge hit in the UK singles chart.

The Anastacia version is pretty great as Pop tracks go.
What I think is very cool about this cover is one line that they completely changed while still paying a tribute to the original.
In the original, Anastacia refers to herself in a particular line and Jaded Heart rework it to do the same.
A nice Easter egg.
That's quite a common thing to do when a song, in the rare instances it is done, that the artist mentions themselves. Also when artists change pronouns. (Can you imagine a male artist singing "When i saw him standing there" )
One of the most obvious is Fight for your right by the Beastie Boys. The line "Ah mom you're just jealous wer'e the Beastie Boys". Teenage Casket Company change it to TCC, Ballbreaker change it to Ballbreaker Boys but my fave is Trixter who change it to "Ah mom you're just jealous cause daddy likes boys"

My neighbours knocked on my door at 3am this morning, which I thought was a bit inconsiderate.
Luckily I was already awake playing Invincible shield at full volume.

Under what name?
He has only posted a small teaser so far, and the graphics on the screen say Maxx Factory.
I think that is what he calls his drum school, but maybe wrong. So maybe he is using that as a band name.. guess we will have to wait a week.

Hessu apparently has a song coming out on 29th.
Not much detail on what it will entail other than a small snippet, but it's possible he is doing vocals.

No idea why it quoted twice

Looks like it's their go to price. All the 4 disc editions are either £90 or £95.
For me 4 discs should be no more than £50

No "The Eternal Idol", so it's not a complete collection.
Why bother.
Maybe Warner Bros won't give them rights. Does seem weird though to exclude his first album with them.

I loved the debut album, but the few albums I bought after that are not in my collection anymore as thought they were horrible and never went back to his catalogue.
