  1. While I won't complain about anything new/unreleased by Billy, it pisses me off that they don't just do some kinda compilation album of them or a box set. I bought Rebel Yell last time it was re-released with bonus tracks, and several of the songs were either alternate versions or demos of songs already on the album. If they knew this shit existed, this is what they should have put on it.

With the length of his career as a solo artist and with Generation X, I reckon they would have enough unreleased stuff to fill at least a double album.

Thats just it I'm in the middle really most music on that site is heavier than me but yet this 1 is more softer than I like ...lol.

The thing is that site is kinda a mixed bag with some borderline stuff. Stuff like Iron Maiden, Saxon, some Sabbath, Dio and a lot of early Priest really are not that heavy and kinda straddle the heavy and melodic spectrum but everything has to go somewhere. And lets face it a lot of people call Scorpions "metal" but they are on HH not BM. All down to how people judge what genre they belong in.

Even bands like Twisted Sister, WASP or Fozzy could fit on Brutal Metal as well as Heavy Harmonies.

Me, myself & I don't care about any of those bands listed but I'm obviously odd man on this site .... but at same time I'm right on the edge of liking metal not quite all the way over..... but I know some stuff I listen too wouldn't be on here either. I'm in the middle I guess.

The more metal stuff has its own database https://brutalmetal.com Just in case you had not spotted it.

  4. There is one band I do think should be added that while not on the list, is connected to one of those bands and that is Audioslave. Cornell is a fantastic vocalist, but Soundgarden does not belong here, and only some of his solo stuff does, but the three Audioslave albums should defo be considered.

If Alter Bridge is in the database, Audioslave should certainly be there.

Kid Rock is/was great in his southern rock phase, but as much as I like that I don't think he really belongs here.

I'd rather have stuff like Bowling For Soup on the site than all of those bands on the list, and I ain't even convinced they belong either.

    It's about time !!

I actually bought the CD when it came out in 2019, and have to say I really am not that fussed about the bonus tracks. The studio track has been downloadable for four years now, and never interested in live tracks. For anyone who didn't get the Jap import this is defo a win as it's pretty damn cheap as well.

  6. Released back in 2019 on vinyl only in most of the world, the only place it could be purchased on CD was Japan.

It is finally available on CD to the rest of the world with the addition of two bonus tracks.

One is the usual "bonus" track of a live recording of Go man go, and the other is the song Don't give up which was released at the start of the pandemic as a single.

Follow the breadcrumbs to a sonic treasure trove with Alice Cooper's "Breadcrumbs" EP, which will be available on CD for the first time ever, featuring additional bonus tracks on this edition! Originally released in 2019 as a limited-edition 10" vinyl record, "Breadcrumbs" is a tribute to the garage rock heroes of Alice Cooper's hometown of Detroit. The EP features six tracks that showcase Cooper's raw and energetic take on classic Detroit tunes, including Suzi Quatro's "Your Mama Won't Like Me", Bob Seger's "East Side Story", and the MC5's "Sister Anne". It also includes the two additional bonus tracks "Don’t Give Up", conveying Cooper’s message of hope and perseverance to his fans during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a live version of "Go Man Go" from his electrifying set at Hellfest 2022.

The album featured a star-studded lineup of Detroit musicians, including Wayne Kramer of the MC5, Johnny "Bee" Badanjek of the Detroit Wheels, and Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad.

"Breadcrumbs" marked the beginning of Alice Cooper's homecoming, a journey that culminated in the critically acclaimed studio album "Detroit Stories", released in 2020. This EP served as a taste of Cooper's profound affection for his hometown's rich musical heritage, making it an essential addition for any devoted fan of the shock rock icon.

  7. Posted the first few videos when they dropped but realised I had not posted about the album, which is probably as I can't afford it. Not only is the CD $20 ($30 signed), but the postage to the UK is $46.25, which is by far the most anyone from the USA has tried to charge. Their answer when I questioned this was "We don't control the postal system". Now I know US prices are high on postage, but not this high. $30 seems to be the norm these days, but I have had two CD orders from the USA that have cost $9 and $5 (not sure how but I aint complaining).

Anyway, the album is already out

Did they do Mick shitty? Absolutely.

With that said, I’m still damn interested to hear what they’ve come up with,  with John 5’s input. Hopefully it’ll be damn good. 🤞

I have heard a small snippet, or at least thats what someone claims it is, and I am divided. Sounded nothing like Crue.

John 5 claims Nikki has shown him songs that sound like demos from the first two albums, but I really doubt anything they record now will sound anything like that. Just wish Sixx would write modern stuff for outside projects like Sixx AM and keep Motley sounding like Motley.
