  1. I'm curious to know if that many have the Distorted Wonderland disc in their favs. I just got it and damn what a fine slice of Sleazy Metal and IMO it should be mentioned up there close to the Crashdiet and Hardcore Superstar.

I was able to get a handful of spins on it before compiling my list and it ended up at #15. I'm not sure where it would have ended up if it came out earlier but certianly not any lower. I agree, I would think this one makes a lot of people's Best Of list somewhere.

    15. Distorted Wonderland

This probably would have been ranked higher had it come out sooner but I'm really diggin' this one.

    Favorite track: Losing It

I just came across Distorted Wonderland today. Very cool stuff. I just downloaded my top 5 tracks off it from Itunes. I see that Aor Heaven is calling them a harder version of Hardcore Superstar meets Crazy Lixx with a lead singer that sounds like Chris Laney. Not really too bad of a description. I actually hear a little Taking Dawn mixed in there as well.

  2. I just listened to all the samples. You're correct, very solid album. I'll definitely be picking up a hard copy. Cutting "Paper Dolls" just sucks though. I see there's going to be one extra studio bonus track if you pre-order the new cd directly from their website. Maybe that's what they saved it for. Who knows.

  3. Actually, no, I didn't have all these songs already. This is actually the only Bon Jovi disc I now own (gasp, lol). I never felt like owning his whole discography for the two or three songs off of each that I would actually listen to. So, it was nice to see a 'greatest hits' finally that actually had the 'hits' on it I like. These new studio tracks are just a nice bonus because I actually like them.

  4. Hmm, I hadn't even been aware that there was two versions until I saw this thread. I definitely got the bare bones, single disc version. Luckily Itunes came in handy and I just downloaded those two other studio tracks (which were both pretty solid imo). No way I was going to go back out and pay for another full album.

  5. Many myspace pages are filled with junk, and spyware. I actually just deleted my myspace page for my radio show and I had almost 50,000 friends and a lot of networking. Between the new layouts, and the spyware thats loaded on profiles I just about had enough.

Its always good to be educated on viruses, spyware, browser hijackers and so on especially in this day and age.

This program would have removed the System Tool 2011 crap.

Wow, it's funny you mentioned that. That malwarebytes is exactly what my computer store installed after they fixed my computer.

  6. For those interested, 7th Heaven has released a new Christmas cd called "Merry Christmas in Chicago". It has like 14 tracks on it. While half of the tracks can be found on their "Christmas CD" from several years ago (which is the one I currently own), thre are seven different tracks here on this new one. The new tracks this christmas cd are 1) Santa Claus Is Coming To Town 2) Frosty The Snowman 3) Last Christmas 4) Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer 5) The Christmas Song 6) Never Be Alone At Christmas and 7) The First Noel.

The new cd can be ordered from the band directly or downloaded through Itunes. Since I'm a sucker for decent Christmas music, I thought I'd share. Happy holidays!

  7. I don't know what happened, but yesterday when I went to Hell In The Club's myspace page and website, I got a very nasty spyware virus called System Tool 2011. I actually just returned from my local computer shop where I had to lay down $75 to get it removed. It's apparently some new spyware that's circumventing a lot of anti-virus spyware that most people have in place and seizing their computers. Just be careful if you're visiting this band's sites. That cost me a lot of dough to hear one single (although that single is pretty solid).

  8. Probably my favorite dual lead vocalist band was the Christian rock band FIGHTER. Amy Wolter and Sean Murphy seemed to take turns every other song, although I like Murphy's vocals much better. And let's not forget current Christian rock band SKILLET. John Cooper sings most of the time, but Jen Ledger occasionally belts out a tune or two.

  9. I popped into Best Buy today and was pleasantly surprised to see a deluxe edition for the new Hinder cd. This deluxe edition includes two additional studio tracks, "Good Life" and "Bad Mutha F**ka". So with a total of twelve studio tracks, I am a very happy camper. These guys still got it imo. One of my favorite tracks off the album which I had not heard earlier is "Red Tail Lights". Absolutely killer! The album gets two thumbs up from me as a whole too. Me likes a lot.

  10. Just caught "Striptease" and "Hey Ho" on youtube. Both freakin' awesome! "Hey Ho" is just HUUUUUGE with that chorus. Loved it. Sounds to me like the album is a pretty good split between riff heavy hard rock and the midtempo/ballad stuff Nickelback has made so popular recently. I'm in!
