  1. New video for 'Firestarter'. From Frontiers: Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the latest release from Dennis Ward and Khymera, "Hold Your Ground" will be available on February 10, 2023. Dennis handles lead vocals, bass, and keyboards and is joined by guitarist Michael Klein, keyboardist Eric Ragno, and drummer MIchael Kolar, with Pete Newdeck contributing backing vocals. As has to be expected with Khymera and Dennis, "Hold Your Ground" is another fine slice of high pedigree melodic rock. Khymera has in fact built its reputation as one of the best examples of what great European melodic rock is all about: crystal clear production, soaring vocals, killer musicianship, and songwriting that reminds fans of the heydays of the genre when bands like Giuffria, Icon, and Signal were releasing their classic albums. While it started out as an alliance between Italian producer/musician Daniele Liverani and then Kansas singer Steve Walsh, Khymera developed into a regular musical project when bassist and producer Dennis Ward (Magnum, Pink Cream 69) entered the fold. While known as a bassist, Dennis always sang background vocals with his bands, so he was more than ready and willing to take over the lead vocals for Khymera when the opportunity presented itself. After releasing the albums "A New Promise" (2005) and "The Greatest Wonder" (2008), Dennis took a break from Khymera for some time before returning with "The Grand Design" (2015). He then returned with another new Khymera album five years later, “Master of Illusions” (2020). Musically, "Master Of Illusions" followed the logical progression of the musical path that was started when Dennis joined the project and was a strong, extremely melodic release, showcasing the fantastic vocal abilities of Dennis and skills as a songwriter and producer. Mercifully, the wait between albums is a bit shorter this time as 2023 will see the release of Dennis and Khymera's next chapter, "Hold Your Ground", an absolute tour de force of glorious melodic rock.Tracklisting:1. 3. New single. From Frontiers: Revolution Saints, the band centered around vocalist/drummer Deen Castronovo, have returned with a new line-up and a new single, 'Eagle Flight'. Castronovo is joined by new companions, bassist Jeff Pilson and guitarist Joel Hoekstra for Revolution Saints 2.0 and 'Eagle Flight' is their brand new musical statement announcing their arrival. Revolution Saints was initially put together by Serafino Perugino, President and Head of A&R for Frontiers Records, to showcase the stunning voice of Deen Castronovo (Journey, Bad English, Hardline). Castronovo has always been a well respected drummer, but fans who took note of his background vocals over his career and who attended Journey shows and saw him take lead vocals on 'Mother, Father' during the band's set, came to realize he also had an amazing voice. Revolution Saints was, and always has been, a vehicle to show the world Deen's incredible singing talents. For the first three Revolution Saints albums, "Revolution Saints", "Light In The Dark", and "Rise", Deen was joined by bassist/vocalist Jack Blades (Night Ranger) and guitarist Doug Aldrich (The Dead Daisies, ex-Whitesnake, DIO). Produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio, those three albums brought back the classic melodic rock style that thrilled and delighted legions of fans in the ‘80s and ‘90s and still does today! Inspiring, uplifting vocals, soaring melodies, and hooks for days is what you get in spades across those three albums. While Revolution Saints MK I left an indelible mark on the melodic rock world, it was time for MK II to be born. Deen, having recently re-joined Journey, was feeling invigorated and inspired and ready to sing his ass off. Filling Blades and Aldrich's shoes would be no easy feat, but, mercifully, the exact right guys were found for the job. Joel Hoekstra is a current member of Whitesnake, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Iconic, as well as having his own solo project, Joel Hoekstra's 13 and is an absolutely stunning guitar player, able to play multiple styles. Jeff Pilson, currently a member of Foreigner, Black Swan, and The End Machine, is also known for his time in Dokken and his more recent production work. Two stellar musicians to compliment Deen's singing and drumming is exactly what was needed for Revolution Saints 2.0 and that's exactly what we've got here. Fans of Revolution Saints first three releases are going to find much to be delighted with here with the new, rejuvenated Rev Saints and their brand new single, 'Eagle Flight'! A new studio album will be released in the first half of 2023. Line-up: Deen Castronovo: lead vocals, drums Joel Hoekstra: guitars Jeff Pilson: bass

  13. This sounds good but the singer is weak. Throw in a better singer and this would be much better. Bio: Hell and Then is a five pieced Glam/Hard Rock band officially born in 2014, that comes from the beating heart of Italy. The lead singer is Isabella “Leezy” Nuti, the guitarist is Niccolò “Nox” Moscatelli, the bassist is Ennio Gaggiotti, the drummer is Valerio Branco and last but not least, at the keyboard Nicoló Sannipoli.Over the years, the line-up changed several times before reaching the one just enlisted before, which is perfect and also, the most productive. All the five members are united, and they strongly believe that their fresh and innovative music will arrive straight to the heart of the listeners. During 2021 the band has released two original singles and an official cover for Motley Crue's "Dr. Feelgood". At the beginning of 2022 Hell & Then released another original single called "Curtains Close". However, November 2022 will be the most important month for the band because there will be a double release, that is their first EP "Relentless Resistance". Album: HELL & THEN is a five piece Melodic Rock / AOR band officially born in 2014 that comes from the beating heart of Italy formed by lead singer is Isabella “Leezy” Nuti, the guitarist is Niccolò “Nox” Moscatelli, the bassist is Ennio Gaggiotti, the drummer is Valerio Branco and last but not least, at the keyboard Nicoló Sannipoli.Their debut release ”Relentless Resistance” has a title that speaks for itself; the band was ready to launch music late 2019 and then pandemic stopped all. However HELL & THEN didn’t give up.Despite their name, HELL & THEN’s music is not metal at all but melodic and plenty of harmonies. This is ’80s inspired stuff with cool guitar work, keyboard splashes and catchy choruses. The band mention the likes of Danger Danger, Winger, Warrant, etc, as influence.Over the years, the line-up changed several times before reaching the one just enlisted before, which is perfect and also, the most productive. All the five members are united, and they strongly believe that their fresh and innovative music will arrive straight to the heart of the listeners. During 2021 the band has released two original singles and an official cover for Motley Crue’s “Dr. Feelgood”.At the beginning of 2022 Hell & Then released another original single called “Curtains Close”. However, November 2022 will be the most important month for the band because there will be a double release, that is their first EP “Relentless Resistance”.Opener mid-tempo rocker ‘Burden on Me’ has elements from the current Scandinavian scene but also a feeling similar to late ’80s acts, especially on the catchy chorus. “Wild Hot Night” is a favorite as the AOR factor appear, from the pumping bass lines, the swirling keys and the more clean vocal phrasing.‘Curtains Close’ is faster but poppy melodic rock in spirit, a catchy tune again incorporating a modern Swedish melodic rock sound alongside the Eighties vibe. The song ‘Hell & Then’, titled as the band, is the heavier so far. It’s driven by a strong riff and a hard rock groove, but at the chorus gets very melodic. As proof of Hell & Then love for ’80s melodic hard rock they do a cover of Motley Crue classic ‘Dr. Feelgood’, very well done adding their own touch; namely more melodious vocals and keyboard arrangements.Next we find rough mixes of some songs, which in fact are different, early recordings showcasing a more edgy sound, something that would be closer to Hell & Then when performs live.Hell & Then is a very promising new band from Italy, a land with immense love for ’80s melodic rock / AOR sound & style. ”Relentless Resistance” is a very cool first effort, hope there’s a second delivery soon. 14. Press release: Acclaimed hard rockers Girish And The Chronicles have announced the upcoming release of a re-record of their debut album, "Back On Earth" on January 27, 2023. Originally released in 2014, "Back On Earth" was the first album to introduce GATC to a larger global hard rock audience and kicked off their still ongoing rock n' roll journey. When asked why the band decided to re-record the album as opposed to simply remastering and reissuing it, frontman Girish Pradhan says, "We wanted the whole thing to have a fresh new start. Although we wanted to keep most of the vocal takes, we have been introducing a lot of musical changes to these songs in live performances. So we thought, “Why not do the same in the new recordings?" We always felt that we had technical challenges back in the day and couldn’t deliver the hard hitting sound that we had originally intended, so we introduced some new breakdowns, chord sequences, solos, and bass and drum parts to these songs that make them feel closer to where we are now. We didn’t want to mess around too much with the vocals though, which is why I only re-recorded the vocals for 'Angel' and 'Loaded'. As a whole, the whole thing sounds quite different from the 2014 version, but all in all, it stays true to the spirit of the songs, however, we feel that it is closer to the vision we had back in the day." Thinking back on the making of their debut album, Girish says, "each song has its own story. Most of them were singles, released during the 2009-2013 era of the band. We had a lot of struggles, but we were living our lives to the fullest. More than anything, we were a group of four guys, without a care in the world, who just wanted to get on stage and rock. 'Angel' was the first song ever released. I wrote that tune around 2008. It was actually supposed to be a solo song at that time, but by the time we all assembled, we officially called it the band’s first ever single. 'Golden Crown' might sound funny to a lot of our new listeners, but it was actually a song by two teenagers (me and my brother, Yogesh), meant as a jingle for a local football championship named the Gold Cup, organised by the Sikkim Football Association. I wrote 'Loaded'’s riff and some of its lyrics in 2010, when we were in the process of applying for our first passports. Two of our band members lacked some documents and were told to go back to Sikkim and reapply all over again. We were quite frustrated, thinking of the long journey and the amount of running around we had been doing, for something so simple, plus we were broke as hell. Anyway, the circumstances did help me write the song, and the lines :“There’s no point in complaining And shedding tears while it’s raining There is nothing to lose, ‘Cause I was the one to choose” I guess this will be very long to read if I start writing about each and every song, so we'll leave some of it to our fans to interpret!"Originally from Sikkim, but now based in the city of Bangalore/Bengaluru in Karnataka, India, GATC are known for their soaring, powerful vocals, biting guitars, thunderous bass, and pounding drums, staying true to the authentic ‘80s heavy metal/hard rock sound which they grew up with. In their 12 year existence, GATC have been credited by many fans for bringing the classic hard rock culture back to India and are an inspiration to many new and upcoming bands in the scene. The group has gained a cult following globally with '80's and '90s hair metal and hard rock aficionados in addition to being well known in the Indian rock scene for electrifying live shows and have toured across the nation and beyond. The group has supported bands ranging in variety from American alt rockers Hoobastank to Finnish rockers Poets of the Fall to German thrashers Destruction. The band has also performed at the Zurbaran Rock Burgos Fest in Spain, sharing the stage with German hard rock legends Bonfire. GATC has also performed at the UrRock Fest in Switzerland in 2021, sharing the stage with Nazareth, Orden Ogan, Firewind, and again in 2022 with headliners Skid Row, amongst others. Additionally, the band consistently has been part of various leading music festivals in India. Vocalist Girish Pradhan is also part of the international metal group, Firstborne, which is led by Chris Adler, James Lomenzo, and Hugh B. Myrone. He has also toured the UK, France, Spain, Portugal and other territories with his other side projects in the past. GATC has released three acclaimed albums, their debut “Back on Earth” (2014), “Rock The Highway” (2020), and their most recent release, and Frontiers Music Srl debut, "Hail To The Heroes" (2022).
