It got Frasier Crane ...It got Parker Stevenson ... it got Blackie Lawless - the LAST question before guessing Blackies was "Does your character work in a bakery" to which I answered "No" ... WHAT THE FUUUUCK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I'm sleeping with one eye open tonight.

If a band self releases, and releases on CDR, then you can sort of understand it. But as soon as a record label gets involved, there is never any excuse to release a CDR.
If you are a genuine record label, then release genuine CDs.
I am sure some of the record label people on here will come back with answers about costs or bands etc, but thats all just bullshit.
Look at the small bands out there who are releasing proper silver pressed CDs. If they can do it, there is no excuse for a label to not do it.
Simple fact is, if I wanted a CDR, I'd burn it myself for pennies, cause thats all they are worth.
100% correct. Of all the albums I've ever released I've never ever released anything on CD-R. Take pride in what you do. Create good artwork, make a decent sized booklet (or digi pack), use a strong sounding master. It's not that hard to do. Manufacture 1,000 pieces because that's where your first good price break is at (500 is a decent one as well but if you have to re-manufacture you've shot yourself in the ass). Again, it's not that hard to do ....

Just so you know, Jeff - CrashDiet is NOT playing with Diemonds in Idaho. The name of the venue is Diamondz. However the two bands did play together on this run in Dallas and last summer at The Whisky in Hollywood.
Just figured I'd clear that up.

Pretty sure it's not Italian or I'd be able to pick some stuff out here and there. I'm thinking it's some sort of Slavic language / dialect. And the people's names are - Mirko Maric' ... and ... apparently some characters (not Western style lettering) my computer will only "copy" as question marks (what the fuck??? LOL)

It was posted on the Heavy Metal Television Facebook page. Trying to figure out if the guy that posted it is a shit starter or not. He came on talking all kinds of crap and then settled into a somewhat decent discussion and then started up with this stuff. Here's more of what was posted:
Another person - po cemu to nije heavy metal? ovaj novije generaciju to je vise satanisticki... ja na fax po ceo dan, a tebe nidje... mogao bi svratiti nekad na fax
Original poster - Ja sam tamo SKORO svaki dan, za razliku od tebe, doktore.
To znanje što tamo nude nije dovoljno za gospodu tvog intelektualnog nivoa, pa lutaš po obližnjim kafic'ina.
Mafija, pare, droga, kuc(ke i to
Other person again - pa naravno... nisam lud da gubim vreme na fax... ali svratim svaki dan na wi-fi...
Thanks for any help.

O Vujadinovic'u, ?e si mi ti?
Thanks

Trust me, it won't disappoint. Not as slick as 'Gen Wild', no, but the songs are incredible. "Cocaine Cowboys" is actually one of the weaker songs on the album

Ummmm, I've known Tony very well for over 20 years and he's anything but a cocksucker. I just spoke to him over the weekend and he was as pleasant as can be ...
