Let me rephrase this ... if it's on a CD-R it's not a proper release, period.
If it's a "reissue" on a CD-R then it's not a REAL issue, re- or otherwise ... it's a demo. The Freight Train Jane cd is a cdr. Not mentioned as well....I expected nothing less.
Well it's not the demo, just a burned copy of the original version with different artwork. st. James signed up for this crap apparently.
I think most would agree.
... except for the "labels" that release them???

I wouldnt support that shit bag. The man is a compulsive liar, and obsessed with his previous band.
He is? Feel free to elaborate...
Re: The obsession - You're obviously not "friends" with him on Facebook, I take it???
I've never signed up for FB...
This is probably a good choice on your part, actually. All Michael does, all day long, is bitch about the other members of Eden's Curse.

Annnnnd, it looks like they did pretty well on Australia's Got Talent

Why does that video look like it's been pulled from an old VHS????
-
Quite liked their last release ...

Lol! This song is spreading like a virus. It makes sense that you heard it at Fry's since it's a part of the Kroger
empirefamily of stores.A quick note on the other Kisur song I mentioned, "All I wanna do (is you)". I tracked it down and it's not the same song that I heard @ Kroger. Funny that I thought it was him, he had a song title matching the lyrics, but it's not the same.
Maybe a cover??

LOL So, we're walking through Fry's Grocery Store this evening and THIS fucking song came on over the PA. I started cracking the fuck up and got some very inrteresting looks .....

They're coming over to do some Southwestern US dates in May ...
-
It's a damn good album ... it was recorded "somewhere on the East Coast" but other than that, no idea ..
-
Funny how the original poster has since disappeared ....
-
LOL We both did, actually ... damn drunken brawls when you're 17 / 18.
-
Checked it out when it was first released and thought it was pure crap. Went and watched the video again last night and, sadly, my opinion hasn't changed ....

I remember a decade ago when everyone in the AOR "community" was slamming the boy bands but losing their shit over these guys:
Same stuff, basically. A good song is a good song, period. For me, the hookier the better.
Ol Conrad (aka "Cronos") is a prick, always has been. I got into a punch out with him in 1983 in London and then a few months later we went at it again in Frankfurt. Fun times ...
-
Did a search for the song on YouTube and couldn't find it ... but there were several other songs up there from him that seem like a completely different type of artist, more singer / songwriter oriented. Good stuff all around, though ..
His site: http://www.michaelkisur.com
"Red Line" doesn't appear to be on any of his albums ...
-
You guys REALLY like this album???? Oyyyyy ....
-
Sad thing is, this album has scanned 23,117 copies and was sitting at #120 on Billboard on 15 December. Of those, 20,088 were physical sales. Won't see the next round of charts until next week, due to the holidays.
I'm guessing a lot of those "sales" were part of a giveaway with Guitar Center or something (buy something, get a free CD ...)

According to the Love/Hate Facebook page, the upcoming "Crucified" EP will be released under Jizzy Pearl's own name instead of the Love/Hate name...supposedly Skid and Jon E. Love both threatened Jizzo with legal action for putting the Love/Hate name on it without their permission. Sheesh.
"CRUCIFIED is now a Jizzy Pearl release. Available on Itunes on the banner above. March 2014 will be the LAST Love/Hate tour as Jizzy Pearl's Love/Hate. Not to be confused with Skid's Love/Hate or Joey Gold's Love/Hate, both of which are marvelous in their own right."
I think I detect a note of sarcasm in Jizzy's last sentence here.
In other words... nothin' to see here, move along everybody....
Shoulda brought Darren Householder back instead of Jon ...

Does Cosmo even appear on this???

YouTube and it's constant freezing can go GET FUCKED..

Oh, no, who let THIS guy in the door???????
-
So I was tracking some songs with a band today, and the other guy producing with me, says he's the nephew of a guy named Sean Delaney, apparently the 5th member of Kiss, and one of the guys that discovered them, I have never heard of this guy, he's dead now, but reading up on him, this guy aint kidding, do any of you guys know of him? I guess he released a solo album, and was in a band called the skatt brothers, what do you guys know about him?
I worked with Sean in 1999 / 2000 on an unreleased country rock album from a band called Smith & Jackson, featuring Paul Jackson from Roadhouse (Pete Willis' band). I believe he passed away in 2001 or 2002. Don't remember exactly when but it was shortly after we finished the record.
