Reached out to the family again to see if there's any progress. -

I think so too...I just can't recall precisely. I'll go thru some old emails and see if I can find the info. -
R.I.P. Gregg Fulkerson (Blue Tears)

Never saw that interview before....Gregg never mentioned this to me in any of our conversations. So not sure myself. But there is plenty of unreleased demos, his son (I think) was trying to get control of the estate, or last I heard, had just taken control. I have an indirect contact - they were going to reach out to me when all sorted. That was a year or so ago now. -
Oh indeed. I'm deeply bitter at not still being used for free promotion or abused for giving bad reviews and having advertising money held back as punishments. So wish I was back dealing with all that again!

Soulless pap. As usual.

Why?

Vitalines (LaBlanc/Denander) - Wheels Within Wheels
melodicrock replied to Stefan's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
...Avoid! Frontiers now have two ADVs. -
I was talking to Joel about doing this 5 years ago. But we couldn't get the label on board or any other member, so I dropped out. Looks like he's doing his own "unofficial" version
-
Exactly. Except is ain't super and it ain't even a group.
-
Last album was as boring as bat shit. Therefore this will be the same. Same sessions, same writers, same producer....Zzzzzzzzz
-
Romeo. FFS. Its as if there are only 5 musicians working at Frontiers - ADV, Romero, Sweet, Lynch & Hilli.
-
Amazing album - love it to bits!
-
Same old sound and style...hard to keep up with the 400 project names being used by these guys.
-
As nice as those tits are, the guys are uneasy about it. Definitely better audio quality and some bonus stuff.
-
And now not DOA. Sorry folks. Was told this was dead, but some behind the scenes machinations have obviously taken place.
-
Appreciate the support and enthusiasm for the title. In ALL past releases I've fought hard and at times with the artists and rights holders to release something I as a fan would want to buy - and that includes original artwork, track listings and bonus material etc.. (had some good fights over those). However, in this case, I fully agree with the guys. Its just not feasible to release and promote something called Sex Crimes in 2023. Politically correct, woke, reality...it just is what it is. The band has felt uneasy over the title for some time now. We will endeavor to make the release as true to the original apart from that title and a fresh take on the artwork. Apologies for the right-wing comments, that's my immediate reaction when I start hearing cancel culture stuff.

No, I'm a perfectly content guy who enjoys dealing with the absurdities of life.
-
You're offended that I'm not prepared to risk offending others. You find it offensive that I don't want to be offensive. As long as you're not upset, screw anyone else. Typical right-wing ideology. Oh, and it was the band that decided to do this, but if they hadn't of, I would have.
-
I won't even justify this crud with a proper response.
-
That cover and title ain't gonna fly in 2023 sorry. Just a fact.
-
Probably early next year now. And the album will be titled Atlantic Radio
-
Will do our best!

The audio previewed is being replaced with a slightly better version again. It all sounds a million bucks better and are all taken from master tapes. JK does his magic on them. The third album was 7 tracks traded as demos for a while under the moniker Big Talk. We're adding a few extra songs to that original set of tunes. Couple of bonuses planned for the second album too.
