I guess there is just different opinions on how things should be handled no matter which way we turn....thanks for all the differing opinions...I will try to see the points Lonnie and Stormspell have made and learn from any mistakes I have made....although I think it is clear we disagree on what those mistakes are....but there are always 2 sides to every story....I think the best way to let this thread die out is to just apologize to anyone I might have offended here, either lonnie, stormspell, staryder1 or anyone that does not like my pricing of cd's.....but I will continue to sell, trade and collect cd's.....one thing I think that has been missed in all of this is when I start a cd out on ebay...I do take offers...and often sell for much less than my listed price on ebay...just did tonight on a couple cd's....made a few bucks and gave someone a deal....but I do try to make money......thanks for listening and your opinions...take care .Michael

Actually Mike i see things from both sides.....both of you are wrong, Staryder is wrong for bringing here, and you are wrong for repsonding the way you did.....how bout this why don't both of you grow up, you claim it is abuse, dude it is text, and if text hurts your feelings you don't need to be here in the 1st place....I have the right to state my opinion, i didn't respond taking sides, like alot of others have. wow lon, it is easy to say all that great stuff when you are not the one being attacked or jabbed at...I have seen how you react when someone accuses you of keeping an OBI strip....lol....you didn't take it lying down and neither do I.....I am sure there are always going to be 2 sides to this as there was 2 sides to your obi strip saga....but I will say it again....I never started this thread...look who did....but once it is started I have a right to defend myself.......
I do agree with you and stormspell that this thread is a waste of time....I thought so in the beginning.....but it is hard not to get caught up in it.....as for "growing up" I am sure I will...just like you did when you were attacked by someone....reacted childishly...then you grew up too.....but I am sure I will always be a little childish...lol.....

I agree with Stormspell this has gotten ridiculous.........Let it die for godsake......It is obvious that you 2 don't like each other and no one says you have too......But as usual other people get involved and turn it into a witch-hunt. Several people have stated Staryder should've been more tactful when making the post and done things different. But no one has said a thing about the statement about "retracting a $700 bid because they found another copy" which violates Ebay's policy altogether........So if you are going to jump on any bandwagon, look at all the facts. One is just as guilty as the other. So like i said let it die this is not worth it and is just plain bullshit...........

As usual Lon you like to jump in on both sides of an argument..."staryder1 is wrong but so is mike"...listen....I did not start this...it is always him re-starting this old arguement..it gets old but I am not going to sit here and take abuse.......as far as my ebay bid goes....you can retract a bid for certian reasons....the one I used is I bid the wrong amount....which was true in the fact that I was no longer happy at winning the cd at $700....since I got one far cheaper....but ebay requires you to enter your correct bid immediatly after retraction so I did enter the smaller bid, (per ebay rules), I would have taken the kidd wikkid at even though I had one.....obviously that bid was out bid quickly....anyway.....I agree guys this is old shit...nothing new here...but when I am attacked I will defend myself.....in anyway I can......sometimes with a joke....other times I will in other ways....but I don't want to sit here and take abuse....would you????

check out the "what cd's did you buy this week" section...I did pick up the kidd wikkid over the weekend at a great price......so I dropped out of the bidding and retracted my $700 bid, I paid $350 including overnight shipping..........

of course I lowered my price....most things that don't sell get lowered....unlike your cars......lol....just keep in mind no matter how low my prices go, you can never bid or buy them from me....lolololol....no matter how bad you want to.......you will have to do your research and find them for yourself.....

Hope it's a good one. Yeah sometimes I wonder myself.....lol.....it is an excellent cd, but after hearing it I would say it is not any better than some of the other biggies out there....excellent hard rock though.....

I haven't been posing here, usually buying too much to list but I just got a cd I had to post....KIDD WIKKID - S/T 1992 I have been trying to get this one for a while now....I was bidding on the one on ebay...but while I was holding the high bid at $370, I got an email from a very well known buyer that I sell to sometimes....he wanted to know if I wanted his kidd wikkid cd for $350, of course I said yes after confirming it was the right cd, condition, etc....he sent it priority overnight and I got it this morning....jamming to it as I write this....cross a big one off my list and saved $230 atleast as the auction is still going....too bad ol' staryder1 is getting pushed up on that one, that just breaks my heart....lolololol.........

Thanks to T-Bone, Zacharyamelie, Headbanger4life & Bubbasmamma for being the good people you are.....I don't want to get going on another waste of time thread started by anyone who can type.....oops I mean anyone who can't type (Punctuation)...lol....just want to say I sell to those who want to buy...those that don't that is cool too......I do want to ad I do adjust my prices if something seems out of whack....if things don't sell I do go down with the prices...the object is to sell and make some money.....that is why they are called sales not giveaways.....it is kind of like that car dealership somebody works at.....I am sure they give their cars away at cost...never making a profit...eh starry???

I ain't the best at guessing, but this newby sure fits the James Arwine pattern the id is: bmetalfan . He is new and is bidding or has bid on crap load of stuff. He is new since the 3rd of January and has already bid on 29 items. Maybe I'm jumping the gun. T-Bone, Stormspell or Michael are the true Arwine spotters, they may be able to confirm or deny. Could he have reproduced and metamorphed himself under a new Ebay identity?

HI all, just wanted to alert everyone about this seller on ebay...tokyorockadom he is a seller from japan his name is Tatsumi Wakita, he claims he also owns the store Disk Heaven.....I bought the new hellfueled cd from him back on nov 21st, and it has never arrived, which can happen with todays mail, but when I emailed him to ask where it was, and to ask for a refund, he came apart telling me he would leave me negative feedback...I told him no problem as I cannot control what he does but I wanted a refund...well I never got the refund and I filed a complaint/claim with paypal then I left him negative feedback as well....I just wanted to warn anyone that you might have some problems if you choose to deal with him....thanks! I have yet to confirm this but this user bid on my auctions today..amj65371 fortunatly I was able to catch it and cancel his bids and block the id.....I have not yet confirmed it is James Arwine but I have emailed some of the people , who's auctions he has bid on and won....just to confirm it, but I feel pretty confident it is him...same old story, new user id, 0 feedback..bidding on tons of hard rock cd's....all you sellers need to consider blocking this id, I sure did.....

you bet..as soon as I find out I will let you know...I emailed him (rockcdmaster), and I also emailed thomas' personal email asking the same question if it was him...I am going to cancel his bid if I do not hear from him and will block him from bidding if it is him......will let everyone know what I find out....
There is a new Ebay buyer with zero feedback from Austria that goes by the name rockcdmaster. Could it be out friend Thomas Ringseis? He has bid on Michael Butt's Quota cd up for auction. Michael can you do us sellers a favour and find out if this buyer is or ain't the same guy. If so I want to block him asap. -
Well thought I would update my situation with Thomas Ringseis.....he never sent the funds back that paypal took, and kept the cd's....and has since stopped responding to my emails.....so I blocked his new id that Del mentioned...if anyone discovers any more id's this prick has...please post them here so we can prevent this guy from doing this again.......thanks...michael

Here is an update on my lastest transaction with cdkarl2005, like he did zacharyamelie, he took over 3 weeks to pay me, then paid me with paypal on the 24th, but yesterday I got a notice that paypal was holding his payment.....so I called paypal and they told me, "they couldn't tell me what was wrong with his account" but they did say it was probably he paid me with a bank account that had insuffient funds....he was supposed to clear this up by calling them..I got the austrian/german number for paypal and put him onto it.....but paypal still has my funds in hold....shitty thing is I sent the cd's the day before but I have not told him that, if he knows he is getting the cd's without paying I might be screwed....I will let everyone know what happens, but he is now blocked from my auctions, 3 weeks to pay then his payment turns out lame, I have had enough!!!
This guy wants his money right away, yet he never pays or takes his sweet time. I had to threaten him with negative feedback if payment wasn't sent, finally paid after over a month. Piss me off, I forgot to block the bidder, still has to pay for another item he just won. Look at his feedback now. Not the most trustworthy is an understatement. -

I don't believe for a second that Friction or Rock Boulevard will sell 1,000 units....in any format.
The test will be Manila Thrills and Mariah , both of which are apparently being pressed as silver discs.
Mariah has members of Tyketto , Britny Fox , Waysted and Lynn Allen....not to mention that Retrospect is releasing 3 of their albums , one being produced by Steve Brown of Trixter and another one having a song co-written with Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.
If that doesn't sell in droves then I guess Sam IS doing the right thing.
I don't see anyone complaining about the Bittersweet 2 disc set being cdr's. Why is that?
Just for your info, Ryan told me he has sold 1500 copies of the surrender reissue all by himself...........

Well i can tell you their are other very disturbing things about Arwine......Some have not come to light yet, but they will eventually........He is as worthless as one person can be......I have gotten to where i email all people who bid on my auctions and get their contact info if i do not know them.......And if anyone has an address in Red Lion,PA, well they get nixed from the get go.....Later

Like Delbert, I had some serious cd's on hold for Jean, he has been really good to pay, having paid well over $1000 on his last order of cd's that I never even offered on ebay, some real biggies, that are one of a kind cd's, I am currently holding $900 worth of cd's he was set to pay me for, (again rare stuff that I never even listed on ebay, and are one of a kind cd's basically), then disappeared.....it's a shame really......
Well......we've seen them come and we've seen them go.......you know, the big spenders that jump on E Bay and go through cash buying anything and everything they can with huge $$$$. I'll bet if we started a list, we could come up with at least 100 E Bay user ID's......I don't understand it with these guys, but, I guess they are trying to amass a collection like many of us long time collectors, only do it in about a 6 month span!!!!!
Anyway, the latest to go down the tubes is the infamous 11jean11.........we've all seen him bidding on every CD imagineable with huge money being spent. Well, I had a deal to sell him three highly collectable CDs for $1,000 and held them for about 6 weeks or more, I also know of some other sellers who have been holding CDs for him with promises after promises to send payment, but, alas....nothing!!!
Now, he bids on my last auction winning 4 CDs and I've had to file a non paying bidder alert with E Bay about a week ago. Still nothing.........
For me, it's time to add another blocked bidder to my list...............

yes, ebay only gives a limited amount of non paying bidder strikes, not sure how many that is, but once reached the person in question gets suspended.......
He just got NARU'ed right after I placed my request for final value fee. Does eBay automatically suspend after X number of final value fee requests are filed? -
Hey Scott, you are really doing a good job on getting this done, no matter what label Michael decides to go with, you deserve a big pat on the back! I do think length of time after an artist signs, before seeing any product the public can buy should be discussed and passed on to michael.....he might think if he signs with Suncity his product will be available 3-6 weeks after signing, as david has stated, but I would let michael know david's label has been up and running for some time, with only 2 releases to show for it, but with several more signings, some of which go back months! I would think if he is inclined to go with a product that is silver pressed, and wants to get the product out there for sale, he should look at Metal Mayhem, I personally think their product is the best out there, and Ryan won't be telling us 6 months from now, "hey guys, only 3-6 weeks more to go before you hear the most killer music out there, better than the last album", etc, etc........but if Michael is ok with signing with the slowest label to produce cd's out there, then that is fine, seems to me he could have both, his product for sale in a reasonable amount of time, with a killer package, (Metal Mayhem)...........just food for thought.......

David, I think your estimated release is not realistic given your past history with releases, you have not put anything out that fast yet, so I would say it would be more like 10 - 12 weeks, although to be fair, your finished product is very nice...
The Manila Thrills album has almost been re-mastered and all-new art work has been done so it would be released in 3-6 weeks once the paper work was fixed up.I know I would rather a record company to put in more time and effort into a release and for it to take a little longer to come out than these quick fire releases by record companies that take no pride in their work.
I tell you what, if I was choosing between Metal Mayhem and Retrospect Records, It would be hands down Metal Mayhem. At least there is alot of time and effort gone into the Artwork and Production values. Although I would say Ryan is really busy right now with the releases of Dare Force, Kidd Blue and Miss Crazy dew out very shortly.

So I guess our choices are.......Retrospect gets this release and we will see it quicker..... if Suncity gets it, the packaging will be a bit nicer but we will have to wait 6 months or more for the finished product.......hmmm........not sure which way to go here.............
Hello People, Dave from Suncity Records here. Just a question to the Heavy Harmonies die hards:Would you guys like to see the Manila Thrills album released on cd by Retrospect Records or Suncity Records?? Just very interested in what people think.
As you know Suncity Records have set prices, take alot of pride in the artwork, production (re-mastering/re-mixing) and release everything on SILVER PRESSED discs??

Not sure you and I have ever done business so you would have to fill me in on what deal I somehow screwed you on or was shady with as I do not know you at least I cannot place who you are so I cannot apologize for something I have no knowledge of....also your info is a bit out of date..I do still have a good relationship, ( I think ) with delbert but surrf and I are history as of months back....we no longer do business which is fine by both of us....I am sure if you ask burt, he is fine with that as well and we both go marching happily on....you seem to know me but I don't know you so I don't know what else to say....????
