  1. ok, got a reply finally from the jones street boys....what he has been doing is letting enough orders accumulate before he sends them due to gas prices and the post office not being in his backyard....which I understand, but I don't understand no communication and letting everyone wonder what is going on.....shawn said mine is going out today, as is everyone else's I assume....thought I would pass this along....mike

  2. Not to worry tony, they will have send you an email and have you fax them some type of identification to show you are really so damn cool...lol....happened to me, my wife, and my brother last year....all for being linked to some mysterious account...lol.....although they should straighten this out, it is a major pain in the ass.....they did it to me right in the middile of an auction...probably like you.... :drink:

  3. Hey Mark, how was the unrated version of AVP:requiem? I heard their really wasn't that much difference...but wanted your opinion.......thanks, Mike

    Latest acquisitions...

HITMAN (Unrated)--cool, stylishly-violent action movie based on the popular video game. Sure, a bit preposterous and illogical at times, but I let all that go in the name of enjoying some nifty carnage-laden shootouts.

AVP: REQUIEM (Unrated)--saw the "censored" cut in theaters and thought it was just OK, but thought I'd give the unrated version a try, since it supposedly has additional blood, guts, and gore. Haven't watched it yet though...

  4. yep, same dude, although he is now going by the name of LARECY ZIMMERMAN....I would block him.....

Looks like this clown is back again with a new ID: helterskelter2008

Using Pottsville, PA as a location which is just down the road from Scranton - check out all the sleaze/glam demo items on the bidder list for this ID and it sure looks like the same guy!!

Anyone who has dealt with this idiot previous may want to put this new ID on their block bidder list - at least until ebay figures out its him, he gets NLARUed again & he comes up with the next new one...

  5. Hey everyone, I thought I would give all you sellers a headsup on a terrible buyer, doubleex is the user id, this idiot won 3 of my tapes last week, bid them up to $102 each, now will not respond to any emails, and his or her feedback seems to be going down the toilet, 5 negs just today....the name is below of the person....what pisses me off is If I would have seen their feedback going south during the auction I would have cancelled their bids, but while they were bidding they had 100% great feedback, just my luck they decide to stop paying for thier shit, after winning my stuff...I tried the phone # that ebay has but no luck.....anyway, avoid this buyer.....Mike

  6. Have they posted a response to your non paying bidder complaints? if not, then when they try and leave a negative ebay will remove the negative due to no response by the buyer...if they have responded I think they can leave a negative.....most non paying bidders do not respond to the complaints at all, so they get their negatives they leave, removed...hope that helps....

I had 2 buyers that never paid for my auctions in the last 3 weeks, Ive emailed them several times, they say the checks in the mail, but that check must coming from Antarctica as long as its taking. I want to leave negatives. I didnt file a non paying alert until 10-11 days , can these buyers that didnt pay. leave me a negative even after I put in a non paying bidder complaint against them?Does anyone know? Im really getting tired of these deadbeat bidders that think this is a game or something..........
  7. sorry, I guess you are under the impression that every USPS office has exactly the same supplies..... my local shop has a stash of these $4.85 ones leftover, I have 4 left sitting here, I also have the $8.95 ones too......you must realize that some post offices still have large quantities of boxes that the larger post offices don't use any longer, but they are still good and usable....so until they are gone, I have access to the $4.85 ones...but they are not on their website.......do you still have more questions on how my local shop runs???

The boxes may be usable as packing supply, but the flat rate of $4.85 is not valid anymore. It is the same with the small global priority envelopes which were flat $5.25, you still can use them, but have to pay $11 shipping as of today's current rate.

No more questions, that would be all :)

sorry bro, but they charge me $4.85, I even check the monitor to see.....not sure what to tell ya on this....

  8. I use mostly the flat rate box that costs $4.85, I can put in more cd's in this one so I use it....

But you see, there isnt a priority flat rate box that is $4.85... all flat rate boxes are $8.95...

  9. actually from my zipcode it cost $4.85 for priority up to 1 lb in the U.S...

    prior-mail1.jpg

You need to talk to your local post office clerk to figure out where those $0.25 overcharge come from

I have talked with them till I am blue in the face, they just turn the monitor around and show me what it says....priority mail from my location ....$4.85 priority mail.....maybe the difference is the type of box I use? I use mostly the flat rate box that costs $4.85, I can put in more cd's in this one so I use it....I really can only go with what they charge me here....what it costs everyone else in other locations does nothing to help me here where I live....

  10. No, I ship from my local post office, no 3rd party involved..the rates from my zipcode are as listed in my previous post....

...my costs are $9 1st class international, ( I have to purchase a padded envelope for this and the shipping is $8.00 from my post office and the envelope costs $1.19)

...priority in the U.S. is $5.45, and the box for that can hold 4 cd's in jewel cases, and many without jewel cases...

I have a suspicion you are shipping from a 3-rd party service (grocery store, shipping center) and they overcharge you.

If you ship directly from USPS office the rates are as follows:

One CD with jewel case in bubble envelope via 1st class international is $4.50 (very seldom it may go to $5.40 if the weight is over 5oz - mega-fat booklet of over 20 pages, etc.)

USPS priority rate in the U.S. for up to 1lb is $4.60

  11. this is interesting....I am located in the U.S. have sold for years on ebay and privately and have never been able to send anything to australia for $2, hell, I can barely get it under $4 in the U.S......padded envelopes do cost money, the post office won't give them to me for free ( as much as I would like them to) so not sure how someone is shipping things that cheap...unless they are strapping them to a pidgeons leg and the bird seed costs $2,.....my costs are $9 1st class international, ( I have to purchase a padded envelope for this and the shipping is $8.00 from my post office and the envelope costs $1.19) so I am actually losing .19 cents plus tax, or $11 global priority mail, they provide the envelope but it still costs $11 to ship.....I can however put in up to 6 cd's with jewel cases for $11, more if not in jewel cases.....so If I can fit a buyers stuff in one pack, they might get 6-10 cd's shipped for $11, which I think is a super deal for that many discs in jewel cases.... but like T-Bone said, if someone's prices are just rediculous, and they are stated in the auction, you have agreed to their prices by simply bidding....if they are not stated I do not buy, or atleast ask.......if I don't like their answer I do not bid....I won't pay rediculous prices either, but some of us sellers just cannot seem to get the same rates others claim they are shipping their stuff for....lol...I do have to admit falling victim to a sellers overcharging of shipping in the past....some sellers offer what seems to be ok shipping rates of $3 or $4 for a cd, but if you buy three, I know being a shipper as well, they can get 3 cd's in the same package for not much more, priority in the U.S. is $5.45, and the box for that can hold 4 cd's in jewel cases, and many without jewel cases... with delivery confirmation, but they don't combine the shipping, they just X it by 3 so the 3 cd's cost $9-$12 because I bought 3, but once again that one was my fault because I quickly bought and did not stop to inquire......

  12. OH Man Dave where do I start with this person....Brigitte and Dieter Thiele gotta be the biggest idiots on the planet.....I could go on and on but why bother.....you get the point....if you are a seller, block them right now..user id is www_dartweltmeisterin_de if you are a buyer do not waste your time!!!

Just had to bump this up for Michael Butt, who just got taken no too long ago by this idiot. Join the club of those who hate this buyer.
  13. Back in the day, I purchased CDs from just about all the usual suspects (Wildside, Restless & Wild, DreamDisc, etc.) but none could match (for me, anyway) the customer service of Wildside. Once Sarah knew what my preferences were (guitar-driven, big hooks, big choruses, big vocals, etc.) she would make all sorts of recommendations and play them over the phone for me. She's actually the one who turned me onto Crystal Ball back when they released their awesome (and still-unmatched) debut.

On a different note, anyone remember how hysterical the reviews were on Restless & Wild? That guy wrote some funny shit and wasn't afraid to tell you something was total crap, even if it meant he wouldn't sell it. With lines like "this is worse than licking the anal drippings of a syphilitic cow," the guy definitely pulled no punches! I used to visit his site just to read his CD descriptions, even if I wasn't looking to buy anything.

    Ah, good times, good times.

oh yeah, I remember one reveiw Bill had at Restless & wild, he was reveiewing Rob Halfords post-priest band, either two or fight can't remember which one, but he said in his review, this is - Rob "the bone smuggler" Halfords new project.....lol......this was just after Rob came out of the closet, the bone smuggler, just killed me! lol....I think it was robs band two, because bill called it a piece of shit, and warned not to buy it....lol....
