Looking at this list of songs, I have to ask...when does the garage sale start?

It's kind of annoying sitting in the stands with the guy, though. Every time his kid gets a hit, he sings, "Don't know what you got till it's going, going, gone!"

I'm not big on greatest hits or live albums (or for that matter, box sets) in general, but there are times when I'll buy one. I was just curious what everyone else's take on them is?

On another note, my son did score 100% on Rock Band the game while singing Eye Of The Tiger from Survivor...on medium level no less. For some reason he knows all of the words to that song and most of the words to Livin' On A Prayer from Bon Jovi and Round and Round from Ratt that are both on the game as well....Daddies little boy sure makes me proud...sniff, sniff, I need a tissue.

Dude, what are you waiting for? Get that young man a can of hairspray and some spandex, stat!

Heard some rumblings about these guys awhile back. They won a contest sponsored by Guitar Center and have been in that store's recent catalogs. It's nice to see a band that actually puts the guitars front and center getting noticed.

That track list is pretty good! (If it had SUBWAY TERROR it would be even better!)

Judas Priest-Hell Bent For Leather

An absolutely excellent album by an absolutely excellent band!

Quarternary is an interesting snapshot of where the band was at the time. Just a grab bag of oddities, though. Not really a coherent album IMO.

2. She’s Crazy - Anyone else getting a cool Enuff Z'nuff vibe from the verse vocals? Love this one too!

I thought the same thing. Kind of a "New Thing" vibe, but definitely NOT derivative. Completely original. (Love it, love it, love it!)

And in a related story, I like fish.

Def Leppard - On Through The Night

Completely underrated and my fave Lep CD!

Give me old fashion grilled burger from the US. Of course a pizza would work too. I'm just wondering why nobody here has chosen Aussie with the tempting beer. I know their are a couple people here who have had a beer or 2 in the past. I'm dissappointed. The only think I can derive from this is that we here at HH like to eat more then we like beer.

Beer soup. The perfect compromise!

Italian, because I could eat pizza everyday.

Mexican, because Taco Bell is my second home.

Chinese, because the eggroll is as close to perfection as cabbage will ever get.

Pete, I think you guys should do a Cannibal Corpse tribute album.

totally in the works, imagine how great that stuff would sound with a touch of keys and big harmony backing vox...

Thanks, Geoff. It looks like most folks are going to have to ruminate about this one...

However, since I started this thread I have thought of one song I love because of its weird subject: "Pull the Plug" by Starz. It's about a guy taking his girlfriend off of life support. Rock and roll!

Although the lyrics to a song are rarely a "make or break" for me, I do find myself enjoying more songs that are about things other than boy meets girl, boy boinks girl or boy drinks and smokes until the girl shows up.

Sticking just to songs on the HH data base (or songs that should be on there but aren't yet), what are the strangest/most unique songs when it comes to subject matter that you can think of? I would love to check some of them out!

Insanity - Tygers of Pan Tang

This solo SOUNDS like insanity!
