So...I was steviep37... 11 years ago. For some reason I randomly thought about this song I never found while listening to club music on youtube. So I did a google search, which lead me back here. I searched for mercury and dont surrender on youtube and found this. Ive heard better versions of this song on the previously mentioned "specials". But anyways, only took me from 1992 to 2024 to actually find this song somewhere other than what was previously mentioned. There was another song I heard in 1996 as part of the motorcity megemix I mentioned earlier in this thread, took me until 2012 to find. Anyways, it will be interesting to see if any of the previous posters on this thread are still around.

Well, I've definitely decided on my artwork. This is exactly what I wanted and I think it suits my songs better. Bing is amazing, but you've gotta know when to walk away. Too many great results.

I'd never really thought about a logo, but if I did move forward with this image, then I'd be happy with this lettering. I like the stylised S in the middle. I reckon if I fucked around with photoshop, I could isolate the text and overlay it on future images... perhaps? Having said that, I'm getting way, way ahead of myself, but I'd be okay with different lettering on future projects. Some of our favourite bands do it, Danger Danger for example. That was my first effort at Artwork (I'm aiming for a Whitesnake 1987/Slip of the tongue vibe) and I I've got about 5 or 6 more songs to come up with, so it's very much a work in progress. Like you, I'm just doing this for myself, but fuck me... it's a lot of fun.
