I hummed the bass intro riff of a 1985/1986 pop/aor song

Hello friends!

This is my small humming:

 

 

I only remember the bass intro melody. I could tell you that the song is from 1985 or 1986. The riff I hummed is just at the beginning of the song I'm looking for. Please, try to tremember which.songs of those times started with a riff like this and tell me who cpuld be the artist and the song's title. It's very hard only with this little melody, but Well. We could try. It's a nice site. I enjoy listening to cool aor music. I have the Rocky IV music CD and I enjoy listening to these wonderful creations. It's not, but the song you linked is awesome. The other song I linked in this thread (Not humming, just a fragment of the original) who could be the artist. The guy has a similar voice to Private Lives lead singer,
