Nine Lives is a melodic rock band from Winnipeg Manitoba, formed in 2008. The band is made up of brothers Damien and Tristan Rivers and long time friend Kevin Roorda. Tristan and Damien’s musical influences range from Bon Jovi, Honeymoon Suite, Harem Scarem, Danger Danger,and Warrant, to Pain of Salvation and prog metal. Nine Lives manage to craft songs that capture the spirit of their major influences without sounding dated. Their music consists of big sounding guitars, strong arrangements, and wailing solos courtesy of Tristan. With strong song writing and catchy melodies, Nine Lives perform songs that people want to sing along with. With a sound that expands with every song they write, Nine Lives is a well-rounded and versatile band with tunes ranging from rock anthems to ballads, and everything in between.
