Wastefall

It's not a brand new band, but i've recently discovered this stunning greek band.

It's more Metal than prog, sounds like Pain Of Salvation (in a darker and heavier mood). It's worth to check out for those who don't know yet :

The band no longer exist, but their latest effort is VERY good imho.

the first was a great baby. the 2nd was prog for the sake of prog, just putting together different parts for me, without a beginning or an end....and i didn't get yet the 3rd one.....if you're looking for great greek prog metal check also black fate, first breaking silence(if i recall right this baby was released from the mekka of prog stuff, WMMS), even uthul-although not your usual prog stuff....i'm sucker for kostas domenikiotis' bass playing(hugely influenced by marcel jacob)....

The 3rd one is their best imho. Totally in the Pain of Salvation mood. Great CD.
