Yes, not interested in that line up. Not my cup of tea.

For me better musicians, better sound, much heavier.

And I am not a fan of the original because I didn't grow up on it.

Same with the song "Burn". Every band that has covered it is better than the original imo.

Last cd I loved was Vicious Circle. Everything else has sucked.

Now, now...we can't judge by the first song. I think some people are going to be eating crow on this one. I have a feeling it is going to be great.

By the way, how fucking awesome is the song Black Gold? I really love this band!

I find it surprising that anyone who listens to the video above doesn't get excited about this cd. I will definitely be buying it.

It looks like the video is straight out of the 80's and Coverdale looks great. The song is a heavy ass riff rocker. I am very much looking forward to this one!

Haven't heard the clip yet but I love all of Bormann's solo cd's and Jaded Heart stuff. Everything else has been spotty at best.

I don't ever comment on them but I say any discussion about music is a good discussion.

Everything Gary does is gold. Excruciating Pleasures is still a top five album all time in my collection.

Losing Mills was good for the band. He was an awful fit for TNT. The only one possible hope they have of not sucking, is getting in a good, strong song writer who can pull LeTekro into line. If LeTekro is given a free pass to write all the songs, it will suck heavily, no matter who's voice he uses.

Yeah, I only sensed Lynch on this one once or twice too, and only in the solos. There is zero trace of him in the rhythm guitar which, for me, was what really made me such a massive fan of him in the early days.

Yep agreed. But lets face it, this is the best thing that could have happened to him. He has basically sucked major ass after 1992....basically everything.

 

 

I guess you're right about Lynch lol but I think I can pick some good songs on LYNCH MOB's 'Smoke and Mirrors' though

Ugg...that album was bad too. Outside of a few songs on Sacred Groove that was the end of the line for me.

Slightly hopeful about this... hope it sounds like what you'd expect from a new Slaughter disc.

I am too...I think it is going to be more laid back but maybe I am wrong. Some of these bands kill me....Slaughter, Firehouse, Cinderella...they could all sign with Frontiers in a second and do a new album but they never do.

Out of curiosity, was the filler on 'SFTD' 'Got to have faith,' 'Flames, 'Wake up call,' 'Song No.12,' or 'Roll with you?' Plenty more I don't like about the CD, but they were all mega weak tracks for me - fillers galore.

I had to snicker a little at your filler choices just because a few of those are so good I can't believe you would call them filler. "Reason" is the only song I ever skip. That track I will give you...is terrible.

There was one filler song on SFTD so I am not sure what you guys are talking about. Secret Society had some good songs but was a huge let down. Eden was very good as well but as much as I hate to say it, I couldn't listen to most of Bones.

It's ok...sounds like a leftover from Saints. I do wish they'd record one more album..and by the way, finish that damn Music to Crash Your Car To Box set!

The album is good but Lynch's signature sound isn't really there. It sounds like a Michael Sweet solo album. Very good but it is missing something.

That was maybe the most gay thing I have ever seen...
