Annette is propably most known for her work with the Swedish aorsters Alyson Avenue. She sang on their first two albums. They are pretty good. Sound bytes below.
As Jez, I really like DPP, maybe is their best their best closely followed by Century child which first got me into NIghtwish.

They are back with a vengeance. As i am a Die hard fan of their earlier stuff, this is just brilliant. One of the best songs I've heard this year, just amazing. Everything is there; the songs the great choirs and a great production. Can't wait to hear the whole album....
Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the worldwide release on November 14th of “Hard Rain’s Coming”, the first single taken from the forthcoming – 11th – ROYAL HUNT studio album “Show Me How To Live”.
The single will only be available digitally. It will also include an unreleased live version of “Martial Arts” recorded at the ProgPower Festival 2009 in the USA.
The first sample from the new ROYAL HUNT can be listened to following this link: http://www.frontiers.it/m/uploads/audios/royal_hunt_-_hard_rain_s_coming_sample.mp3ROYAL HUNT’s new album presents the return of American singer DC Cooper in the lineup to continue the magic of Royal Hunt and goes back to the classic sound which put the band on the map in the first place, all the way back in 1991.

See below. I don't know how this is going to be. It might be really good but it can be just awfull,,, We have to wait and see.
From Blacksabbathonline,,,
At a press conference in Los Angeles this morning at 11:11AM on 11/11/11, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, & Ozzy Osbourne appeared to announce that Black Sabbath Mk I is back together again and will be releasing their first new full album of material since 1978's "Never Say Die!". Granted, the last official full album by "Black Sabbath" was 1995's Forbidden, and the last full album of material that could be called Black Sabbath was 2008's "The Devil You Know". And don't forget the 1998 Mk I release, "Reunion", which had two new tracks on it.
Announced today at the site of were two simple things.
They would be putting out a full new studio album with the original lineup. No release date (although Fall 2012 is mentioned), no title yet. It will be produced by Rick Rubin, though. It has been announced it will be on Vertigo Worldwide. Management has told me nothing has yet been recorded, but there has been writing going on for a few months now. I've also been told it's all new stuff. The material they wrote back in 2001, which included "Scary Dreams" won't be used. But until the album is in our hands, one can never be 100% sure, eh?
Just one live date - the Download festival on June 10, 2012. There will be more after that, but just one gig announced now.

Sorry Tim but I hope City of life is much better than the latest Nightmare since that is an awful of piece mothern metal that tries to go in a retro Metallica direction but falls flat to the ground as a pankake IMO. Just my three,,,
By the way Tim I back you up 100 % when it comes to the Black Veil Brides.

By far the best song on this album is Sentimental BLVD. Darren Smith is a great singer, he should sing a lot more than he does.
I think "Saviors Never Cry" is much better - easily the best track imo. What a chooooon!!!
Backed 100 % mate!!!

I remember talking to him during a show in Wigan in 2002 I think it was. He was a really down to earth lad and he really took his time to talk to me. And yes, Excess all areas is one of the best AOR albums of all time IMO.
RIP Steve

Ok WHY Have I not heard these guys before?? Holy shit, sounds like someone reincarnated Ronnie James Dio!!!!! The vocalist is almost a Dio clone.. Not quite, but still pretty damn good!!!
Check em out....
He-he, so you have missed this great band. They have done a number of albums. I like the first ones best which are great classic hardrock IMO. They have a new one out now which is suppossed to be a killer. Nils Patrik has sang on many swedish mketal albums the last couple of years (see links below).

Sorry lads but I think this is not that good at all. It sounds dated to me. Seather's production sounds almost vintage. He tries so much to sound like the mighty Mutt that it sounds like it was done in the end of the eighties with alot of effects used at that time. He did the same with the latest Bai Bang album, which I love by the way. But the production and mixing isn't that good IMO. The songs arn't that bad on the GD disc but they try too much to sound like Leppard. Just my three,,,

He-he, cool, my dad probably doesn't really know that there is a kind of music called heavy metal,,,
-
It's a little bit patchy,,,
Here you find some more songs mate, all songs of the album actually.

Great album. I might say it is better than copy to con. The only downside for me is the mixing of the album which I don't think is that good. It sound dated and not that crystal clear. "Come on" is a clear winner.

The Treat album was one of my favorites 2010. But I rather go with Skies of Mongolia,,, but do I know about good music
-
Maybe not the greatest production nor the best singer but a hell of a song,,,
I really loved it when I bought it on vinyl in 86.

Fuck Edguy, I just wasted my hard earned money on this garbage, make notice, on my favorite band listing, there is now a band gone from it! wonder who it is?? enjoy Hellfire Club as the pinnacle album from these guys, enjoy Rocket Ride as the crossover Power\Metal album that it is, and im going to forget these guys exist, they don't have "IT" anymore, i dont know what IT is, but none of the songs on either of the last garbage albums have IT, no Mysteria, no The Asylum, not even a funny song like Trinidad, sounds like they are trying way to hard to make a killer album, instead of just naturally not giving a fuck, and making a killer album, or all of his good ideas are being wasted on Avantasia which i dont buy, i dont know, maybe after a couple spins this new album will get me, but Hellfire Club got me from the opening riff, and never let go to the last echo, Rocket Ride got me after I made it through the first 2 songs, but the majority of Rocket Ride was better then the minority, TS just fucking blew from start to finish, this album just doesnt have the riffs, the fire, the power, im sorry, I expect alot from a band that put out Hellfire Club, im done bitching, sorry, just very very excited for this, and it let me down!
I tend to agree with you mate. It miles away from Rocket ride which is fantastic IMO

Welcome to the Madhouse mate

You're welcome mate. They are great IMO!!!

Great melodic metal from germany. Georg from Aor Heaven describes it well:
"The wolves are back in town and ´Blood Of The Saints´ is simply a corcker as it combines the best elements of Accept, Running Wild, Hammerfall and Lordi - pure metal bliss !"
Listen to the sound clips and become "Wolfenised"
Don't get fooled by their looks or the lyrics, they are really good.

Their strongest album up to date. If you like high Quality German MHR this is for you
-
It sounds better than the debut imo. I would prefer an more updated production. It's like being thrown back to the end of the eighties. especially the drums.
-
I know this is not spot on music for this site but the chorus is definitally worth a place on the site and the singer gives an excellent performance,,, Watch and judge for youself

As a huge fan of Gotthard I hope it's just a rumour. I don't mind Heart but He is not the right lad for Gotthard IMO. I had hoped for an unknown lad like Shakra did.
