  1. First impression on this album, well it's still a great one as I expected, but probably too BON JOVI I guess (with a little bit BRYAN ADAMS feel), especially on the gang chant and some riffs, and somehow quite similar to the debut vibe, unlike the sophomore which I believe is kinda over-produced. Gronwall has nice vocal but I like Kenny slightly better, still I think he fits the role perfectly.

The first single, 'Living On The Run', is the best track along with 'In And Out of Trouble' (and maybe intended to also copy BON JOVI ? :D), the sax touch is awesome and it has beautiful solo too. Other awesome tracks are 'Falling Down', 'Better Off Alone', 'Need Her', and 'Heartbreaker'. 'It's All About Tonight' could be the weakest but it's still a good track.

Overall, the debut is still untouchable, but I still have mix feelings whether or not this is better than 'Freedom Rock', but there's a slight chance that this could be the weakest of the three, but it's still a solid 90% for me.

It doesn't sound that much Bon Jovi IMO. Maybe the ballad. And where did you find the Bryan Adams vibe. The only song which I might get that vibe is the great closing song Downtown. i believe that adress the nation is harder with more edge than the debut. Is it this album or the debut you think is over-produced. It can't be the debut since that one IMO which sounds quite badly produce to these pair of half-deaf ears... Rock on mate

  2. A monster album. Top notch from start to finnish. Good blend of rockers to some more melodic stuff. No fillers here. And with Lindell they have created a monster production which have been their problem in the past. For me this is as close as you come to 100 %. Hard to pick any songs since all of the are just great melodic stuff. AS much as I love Kenny's voice I think Erik Nails it.

For me this is their best so far, better than the debut IMO. I probably need to go back to Treat's comeback album a couple of years ago to be this impressed over a MR album.

    Pure magic!!!!

  3. I agree with you friend. This is a solidly-played album, and I like the singer's style too!

But i'm not so sure whether it's easy to buy, do you have any idea where's the cheapest one on the net ?

Bought it from their web site for £7.99 including shipping to Sweden which I think is bloody cheap. :party421:

Thanks a billion, mate. Just picked both CDs up for about au$22!!! Brilliant value. For those unaware, the last CD - 'Out for blood' was pretty awesome too. Stoked to pick them both up at once for so cheap. :)

You´re welcome Geoff. I promise you will not regret it. The album is just great with a production that kills,,,,, :banger:

  5. Tonight Dynasty was in the Swedish qualifyings for the Eurovision Song Contest with the new song Land of broken dreams. One of the song writers is the guitarist from Masquerade. I have mixed feelings about the song and the singer doesn´t nail it either. Heat with 1000 miles a couple of years back in the same qualifying round was much better and especially Kenny killed Molin IMO. I hope you abroad from Sweden can watch the clip from the competition, it´s from the Swedish national TV.

  6. First "new" song I've heard since about the 10th of December 2011, and well, someone's got to be honest. It's total crap, but I'm still hopeful about the album. Sounds like a good band and let's just hope this is one of the album's only blatant fillers. ;)

Hey Geoff, then you can't like Helloween Keeper era. I think this song is absolutely great (must have heard it 20 times by now). It's better than everything with Helloween since Keeper part 2 maybe except from the dark ride which is great IMO.

  7. I saw them playing live at SWden Rock last year. Kiske is bloody boring but the sounded pretty good. They played mostly Place Vendome songs and two helloween songs (a little time and one more I can't remember). Kai Hansen was not in the band at that time. I really looking forward to the release. It has been in the loop for a long time now.

  8. They are a good, solid band for sure, but I really can't see why people rate them that highly. The debut 'Bring The Thunder' was weak and whilst 'Knock You Down' was good in places, it wasn't anything outstanding in my eyes. I'm sure they have a great album in them, but we haven't seen it so far imo of course.

Backed 100 %. Just a few good songs IMO. They are in the Swedish qualifications for the Eurovision Song Contest with Land of Broken Dreams. This is the contest where Poodles and Heat made it big time in Sweden...

  9. All these CDs, including the Pretty Boy Floyd one, showed up on the Azintex site last week. Absolutely stoked about the PBF one. Ordered it quicker than I'd had the chance to open the email.

Imagine trying to update this thread now? Just send a link to the main page of this site and say that there is all the CDs that have been bootlegged. ;)

I don't know who is Azintex but i know that most boots printed in Moscow.

I personally know a guy who does it. I have a huge original cds collection and he sometimes asks me to give him something to boot and i always say - no, but nobody can ban him to buy rare cds on ebay or amazon. All these boot CDs are sold here for the price of $ 2.5-3 each, regardless of rarity or auction price.

BTW i done some pictures of PBF bootleg CD. I think that this boot will be pretty rare soon.

hey Alex, Do you know if it is possible to buy the pbf disc from somewhere else Than that azintex store. i Think 15 bucks is too much

    for a boot.

  10. Wow, this one is totally very close to Steve Lee. Good job, and nice song too!

Hopefully they can move on well, roll on new album, hopefully it's out by the second half of 2012, any news on it ?

According to their web site it should be out during the spring 2012.
