*SIGH* It breaks my heart when I see people aren't treating their CDs with the same tender loving care that I do.
Same. If only every hard rock/heavy metal CDs that were ever pressed in the world will pass by my hands, you wouldn't find a single tab indent. The minor scuffs, we cannot prevent that as we play the CDs several times.

Dropped by my (used to be) favorite CD store after work to check if they have some new ones. Still the same, so I got down to look at the bottom shelves where the $0.50 CDs are. Just to make sure if they are still priced at $0.50, I asked the store clerk. He said yes but also told me that every CD is on 75% off. SO I GOT 5 CDs FOR FREE!!!

remember I live in a country with a bad image, also known for some swindlers in the recent past, so I had to work a lot to obtain the actual credibility...
I never knew that Brazil has this image when it comes to what we like (trading or selling). What I know is that this country is the only one that can match Singapore when it comes to creativity. With some of the biggest superstars in the advertising world.
Now this comment will throw everything out of hand.

I'm pretty sure that your eyes will be very alert for some pawn shops and CD stores out there. Admit it, its in your blood.
Anyway, enjoy!

My wife said that most of the hard rock CDs that I play sound the same. But when she heard Battle Cries blasting in our CD player, she hummed along the melodies.
Man, I need to find a woman that will sing along to my hard rock music, and not just Bon Jovi or the other lame shit.
Also a woman who will let you drop her off in the mall so you can take off and go to your favorite CD store for 3 hours. Also, will give you a Megadeth Concert DVD for Christmas. That's my wife.
You bastard! I don't have a CD store worth spending 3hrs in. You guys have no idea how much I envy your ability to take a short trip to a nice little music shop.
I am not exaggerating that "3 Hours" with that record store that I go to in Calgary. That shop has walls and walls of CDs - from ceiling to floor. They have step ladders that customers can use but still not tall enough. And you have to be on your knees to have a look on those that are near the floor. Last time I was there, I spent 3 hours and I haven't had a good look at the Metal CD Wall because I spend all of my time at the POP/ROCK section (where I got my Daddy Dynamite). What more with the Christian Artists Wall, I'm sure I can find some christian hard rock/AOR artist there (a quick look - I saw some Petra CDs). Also, they have a good collection of VHS tapes, Soundtrack CDs (until now I haven't spend time on), and tapes. This is a far cry from the shops in Edmonton where most shops specializes in hip eclectic music. In my 3 years of visiting that city, I can only count by hand the CDs that I got from there.

I've only heard Pleasure to Kill from this band and that's enough for me. I just cannot get past through the voice.
But the playing is awesome.

from a garage sale:
KISS - Revenge
METALLICA - Kill Em All
CINDERELLA - Night Songs (2nd copy for trade)
and my very first country CD purchase
BRAD PAISLEY- Who Needs Pictures

If MTV suddenly files for bankruptcy, I won't feel any sympathy for them. I just hate what they did with that station.
I know that one shouldn't keep any hatred on one's heart, in the case with that network - I just have this deep, true, sincere, pure hatred for MTV.
-
from a garage sale - a dollar a piece:
VAN HALEN - S/T
EXTREME - Pornograffiti
DEF LEPPARD - High N'Dry

I can honestly say that I do not own a single CD of country music and I have no immediate plans to change that situation....
Same. It's not that I don't want to buy one... its just that I don't have the money. But if I find an 80s style hard rock CD, I definitely have the money for that. My chequing account just cannot handle too many styles of music.

Since I enjoy listening to some bad ass guitar shredders from Shrapnel, I do enjoy listening to Brad Paisley. He's one hell of a guitarist.
What CDs did you buy this week?
