I'm sorry, but this is elevator music to me.

Listening to the album now. Off to a good start with h Gotta Get Away. To be updated.
Have to say I really like it. Could do without the intro and the instrumental interludes, but this album is the best of the Stahl era for me. Nothing new being invented, but it rocks plenty and the slower stuff is good too.
5 out of 6.

Listened a little bit to this one. My conclusion is that I like it, don't love it.
Mainly I miss real rockers. There are a couple but mostly it's between that and midtempo. I like the rhythms of it, but I would've wanted more air guitar worthy material. I like the songs as such mostly but less of I play the album from start to finish.

Excellent song. I don't think it has a metal vibe at all.

Not terrible imo, just average and forgettable.

I don't know if it's me or you that's colour blind, but I can't see orange in there. I see green, red, blue and yellow. 😛

It's almost like it's become cool to not like these guys as much as they deserve.

Rock Your Body 8/10
Dangerous Ground 10/10
Come Clean 9.5/10
Victory 9/10
We Are Gods 8/10
Adrenaline 8/10
One By One 9/10
Nothing To Say 7/10
Heaven Must Have Won An Angel 8/10
Under The Gun 8.5/10
Rise 9/10Those are my ratings. I think it's their best album. Just because it's harder and rougher. These songs have made me go back far more times than any other album as a whole.

Love me some riffage so I like this stuff. Album is a good one.

Another thought on the singer: in the verses in I Won't Cry Over You, he sounds like Gary Barden.

They have a few good songs here and there, but overall it's rather dull.
I'm going to have to go back on this comment. After a few listens, I have to say that this is really good. Sounds more mature to me than before and all songs range from good to excellent.
Maybe I'll have to go back and listen more unbiasedly to their previous albums.
Tell me: does anyone else hear Nothing Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship in the bit pre chorus in Wut Are U Waiting For?
About the vocals: they've been something I had a little trouble with before, but I think it's fine on V. Not as in your face high pitched as before, but more varied.
My rating: 5 out of 6 stars.

Listening to this now and it shits all over HEAT for me.
Hope others are blindsided by the HEAT release and miss out on this.
Much more catchy and hooky and much less samey than HEATI don't agree with any if this. It's good in its own right. But IMO nothing here shits on HEAT.

Extensive listening to this album done. I love it. It's their best one yet. As I've said, I love the harder and heavier HEAT. The only song I don't like is Nothing To Say, but then I don't generally like ballads and have to be in s certain mood to like them, so I usually skip that one.
Apart from that, there's not a filler on here. My favourites are all of them.

Do agree about the Eclipse comparisons.
I agree with you about not agreeing with the Eclipse comparisons.
For me, this is the best Heat album. I like that it's a bit harder, a bit rougher. That will make the songs last longer. I see myself playing this one a lot and going back to songs like Dangerous Ground, Victory, We Are God's etc etc time and time again.

I like most of what I've heard in this thread. Agree on the country vibes, I'm also picking up a tinge of southern rock here and there.
