I hope it can become a perpetual list.
There are tonnes of amazing songs around that many of us may never have heard of before.I remember years ago Melodic Rock posted Harem Scarem - Hard To Love Acoustic Version which got me in to a band I'd not bothered with.
-
Which songs do you think are awesome, but largely unknown and overlooked?I'll start with Take The Dog Off The Chain - Babylon AD.
Easily their best song for me.
-
I really really like this album.
Very Babylon AD (especially songs like Shine) with a little bit of old Bon Jovi and even a bit of GNR
One of the highlights of the year so far...
-
Well that Last Runaway song was pretty damn good.
Listen to it again and you can kind of hear a Meatloaf song.
When there's a clip we may see a Meatloaf clone
-
I listened to the thing a few times and don't like it at all.
I tried, but it really just sounds like a bunch of B grade songs left off earlier albums.
Only one I kinda liked was Glue
-
The Escort - kind of a working class man's Pretty Woman, but well made and enjoyable.
Hot Pursuit - Fuck me if my brain cells diminished after watching this. Would have been better to enjoy the experience and kill them off with lots of vodka. Would have felt better in the morning for the experience as well.

I see it as being a generational thing.
All of my kids use itunes and the like and I doubt will ever really go near CD'sThey range fro 13 to 19.
I reckon CD's have 5 years left 'in the sun' and from then to 10 years time will slowly die off just like video stores did.
-
I really like the Final Destination films ... so here's hoping they don't go cobbling together a load of old crap just for the sake of it ....
It's been a while so hopefully not.
-
possible CD of the year here?
possibly for me.
Only heard a few songs once but I can tell it's gonna be pretty epic (compared to a lot of the shit around lately)
-
Done Final Destination 3 and 4, and will watch 5 tonight.
FD6 is apparently out this year...
FD6? How's THAT going to work? I thought that FD5 brought everything to a pretty cool conclusion ...
Yeah, FD4 was "The Final Destination" and there were comments about FD5 and how it might work and in the end they rounded it up really well.
I guess they just start from scratch and hopefully have a cool new angle.
Remember Highlander, then the sequel, and then they did a third and said "ignore the second one, that was a mistake"
lol

Final Destination a couple of nights ago and then FD2 last night.
Showed my kids who are now old enough to handle the movies and they loved them.
Except my 18 y/o son who left 'because he was tired' lol

Never had reason to hide CD's or any purchase from my wife.
Only time I am tempted is after I've been overseas and selected new stock and when unpacking it she snags all the good stuff if she gets the chance.
This is ended up being done by negotiation - usually "If it hasn't sold in a month, you can have it"
Next trip she's coming with me, so she can buy what she wants for her and the stuff I pick for our business can stay in the business... -
Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol just for fun before I see the new one when it comes out.
Great movie
-
Also love Crazy Nights
-
Saw Jurassic World on the big screen.
Really enjoyed it, and set for a few more given the $ it's taken.Tonight I saw Everly again which is a great movie from last year.
Salma Hayek plays action here. Sounds corny but works really well.
-
I was kinda into it for a few years when I was a kid.
Randy Macho Man Savage
Nowadays I watch UFC if it's on.
When you're watching and go "whoaaaaa" you really mean it because it's real and there's real blood n' stuff...

Seventh Son really sucked.
Made it through around 20 minutes and had enough.
Get Hard was OK
I saw Close Encounters.
Beleive it or not I'd never seen the whole movie before.
Held up well with time.
-
Only heard it a couple of times so far, and so far I'd call it boring and blamd.
I don't really like that song Don't Mean Shit, so I'm right behind the 8 ball in trying to get into the rest of it.
C'mon Take On Me II would have been ideal for me.
I like some of their earlier staff, but that was in a time when it was, well, earlier. Now it's later and I expected more

Sadly, Jules Bianchi passed away on 17th July from inguries suffered in the Japanese Grand Prix last year.
On a wet day he collided with a tractor which was recovering a car that had gone off at the same corner a few laps before.
Normally F1 is way over cautious with these types of things and bog down the race.
In this case, I was surprised that they only waved yellow flags rather than a safety car given the terrible conditions.
Regardless a mistake that they will no doubt learn from, and I guess I won't complain as much when they are over cautious in the future...
-
He'd probably have to incorporate the word 'Viagra' into the song to sing it live and sound legit now
-
Jon Stevens from Noiseworks was considered for the VH job after Sammy left.

From their upcoming album Glorified

Those who haven't heard them before should check out theirmost awesome album "Here Come The Prostitutes" from 2012

Yeah you're right.
Anyone going to give a 9.9/10 as a rating?
5/10 9/10 10/10 - easy with whole numbersRating out of 5 is harder because many would see 4/5 as 80%
