  1. You mean Ted Cruz? The republicans can't be that dumb to run him for president in 2016,can they?

I think Ted Cruz has his own agenda. He sees himself destined to be a president, and he would be going for it full force. I dont see who can stop him, but that's my personal opinion of course and I'd love to be proven wrong.

The current government is a mess, but only because there are certain guys in the congress hell-bent on throwing wrenches at the black guy, regardless of the consequences. Which essentially renders the entire government dysfunctional. It most probably would be the case if we get a woman for a president too. Although I do think Hillary is a player of her own, would grow a bigger spine, and handle things better than Obama. Time will tell, I guess.

  2. Sorry, the 50% off Black Friday code got exausted within hours of publishing it. I would have loved to have bigger sale but we are wrapping a project at work and I simply dont have enough spare time for the label right now. Look for a bigger sale in January. Got tons of unlisted distro stuff which will be going on the $4.99 clearance pile

P.S. Free shipping option (6 or more items domestic, 17 items worldwide) is always on

  3. And how do the unemployed like myself go about paying for insurance with no income?

Depending on the state you live you may be eligible for MedicAid or a lower-cost coverage. Fill out a Marketplace application to find out if you will qualify

  4. Health care exchange application complete. Got a Blue Shield Platinum plan which is actually $90/mo cheaper than my current phony MegaLife, while providing INFINITELY more coverage, and $0 (ZERO) deductible!

It would be so nice to be able to go to the doctor and pay $20 copay instead of those nasty $250+ bills... Last year I got thrown under the bus with $5,900.00 bill for an MRI scan - a simple diagnostic procedure which literally took 5 minutes... in 3 weeks I'll be able to finally return the "favor" and ditch that useless and dreadful MegaLife... revenge never tasted so sweet! Thank you ACA!

  6. The problem is that while it is better for you personally, it is actually WORSE for a very large percentage of Americans.

People are being dropped by their insurance companies left and right, or are seeing their monthly premiums, copays, and/or deductibles go through the roof.

The cure really is worse than the disease... literally.

I also received a letter notifying that my current plan is going to drop me as it is non-comliant to the new regulations and/or the company is not willing to make it such w/o further price hike. It is inconvenient to change plans/providers, but the bottom line is, if I can get a better coverage under ACA for the same money (or less, should I opt for less coverage and bigger deductable), then I dont see a reason why all other people being dropped shouldn't be able to. If ACA does one thing, it is to ensure people are not denied coverage anymore, or kicked to a ridiculous high-risk pool plans for being few pounds heavier or having blood pressure, etc. It is not a perfect act by far, but definitely an improvement to what we have right now. In my own opinion anyway.

  7. My two cents on this issue: I'm self-employed and currently pay $400/mo through NASE for MegaLife which is one of those phony plans with little to none coverage. I could not get better coverage under the current regulations (and I have tried, believe me!) as I'm 40+ and take high blood pressure pills. It's either the phony coverage, or high-risk pool plan of $1500+ which I cannot afford.

Under O.C. for the same $400/mo I will be able to get a normal working Blue Cross gold plan which WILL cover ALOT more than what I got now. So for me personally, January 1st cannot come soon enough.

Do I like O.C. - not entirely. Obama should have stuck to his guns and not compromised with GOP for it. It should have been as intended initially: a universal health care for everyone just as elsewhere in the world.

Unfortunately we are getting the compromised version, which is still better than what we have right now, so roll it on!

  8. The best thing that could happen to the USPS would be for it to become privatized. Name one thing (besides war) the government has ever been good at running? That's why this whole government healthcare thing is going to be such a mess, but that's a whole other story.

Sorry, but I do not agree. The Postal Office is profitable business, it is the ridiculous "Postal Enhancement" Act the Congress voted which is forcing it into bancrupcy. The fact the Republicans are using it as an example of how bad Obamacare would be is just insult to the injury.

  9. Are you so sure its REPUBLICANS?

Well, the act was passed in 2006 with Republicans in the majority, so my opinion is that they are responsible for this. but you never know. the bottom line is, the bill is a fact, and the Postal Office is forced into bancrupcy by having to shell $5,5 billions per year to pre-fund 75 years of health benefits. A condition which is not required for none of their competitiors... If the congress is so concerned about the helth benefits of postal workes, why not worry for UPS and FedEx workers for example? It is clearly a scheme to run USPS into bancrupcy. The fact they can "borrow" the pension funds is just a bonus.

  10. I don't worry about illegal downloads. I alsways saw Stormspell as a small label catering to the diehard fans and collectors, and I firmly believe that if a person want to support a release/band/label, they will find a way to do so. And even if I start selling my CDs at $1 per pop, the downloaders will find an excuse not to buy, so I dont worry about it and dont think it affects my sales.

What really is ruining the business for all of us is the Republican lobbyists in the Congress hell-bent in running the USPS bancrupt so it can be privatized and given to their corporate buddies to exploit... that's what really is destroying all small online businesses, and it will get much worse very soon when USPS raises domestic rates too...

  11. I'm glad to announce Stormspell Records inked a deal with the Chicago's power/speed thrashers WRATH for a limited re-release of their two early albums "Fit of Anger" 1986 and "Nothing to Fear" 1987. Each release will be packaged in jewel case with 12-page booklets crammed with band bio, info, archive photos, etc. Albums can be purchased separately, or as a 2CD/DVD set bound with an over-sized sticker (similar to our STUTZ and TARRGA sets). The set will include a die-hard DVD with live performances from 1987 - also packaged separately in jewel case with 12-page booklet of its own.

  12. (1) Tora Tora – To Rock To Roll CD (true to the original indie cassette that was released 25 years ago in a limited run of 500 cassettes),

How can it be true to the original indie cassette if there are not 500 copies?

Surely if you want to be true to the original, you release the same amount of copies.

I think they mean the sound is true to the tape, or in other words the CDRs would be pressed from a cassette tape rip transfer...

  13. Holy shit! What exactly did you get for that?

Tora Tora is releasing an extremely limited and rare "Super Fan Package" in honor of their 25th Anniversary together as a band. The band has decided to offer up only 100 total packages ever at www.fnarecords.net, making this one of the most limited hard rock fan packages on the market.
