Best album they have done in my eyes - love it! Jules sounds excellent and the guitar work is killer! Solid album with big production - can't wait to see them live next year!

I hear Winger also, definitely Radio (Thought that first time I hear it). The vocals are Kip all over. I also hear a lot of Bon Jovi / Johnny Lima on 'If That's What Love Means'. Overall it's a great album and still growing on me. But nowhere near 'Album of 2014' status as I have seen suggested

Yeah - have a listen on iTunes and judge for yourself! This isnt a clone of New Religion, but it is definitely more in that direction than Riot Avenue. That bigger sound and production is back - in my opinion anyway! I would love to hear a couple of Riot Avenue songs with the NR style production.. Tunes like Church Of Rock, WTF, Fire It Up and Be Gone would be even better with bigger sound. I really like that album, the songs are there, but it just sounds weak compared to NR. Looks like Hell Raising Women and Call To Action are available to purchase for 0.79p each if anyone's interested.

Yes definitely - most songs on this album by the sounds of it would fit right in on New Religion! The production sounds huge and you can tell Chris Laney has had involvement. I am exactly the same as you. I absolutely love NR but when the follow up Riot Avenue came out I was left disappointed. The raw production wasn't for me and felt they had lost some of their 80's hair metal sound and gone for straight up rock, in which the guitars had no b*llocks to them! This new one is a definite return to form. 'All Looks No Hooks' is a monster. Big riffs and massive gang chants in the verse. 'Outlaw' is a mid temp ballad if you like.. But still has a bite. Only song that reminds me of Riot Avenue is 'Ain't No Rest In Rock N Roll' - has a fast almost 'Airbourne' feel to it. Still a good track! The rest sound typical Lixx doing what they do best! Big verses and even bigger riffs and choruses. 'Wrecking Ball Crew' is a fast one and has a bit of double bass... Works though! Hope this has helped mate!

Hey DeLaCruz, 1 min 30 sec samples are up on iTunes.. Sounds killer! All Looks No Hooks sounds massive! And I agree with Outlaw.. Wasn't expecting that vibe but I really enjoy it. Can't wait for this to drop

This sounds great! I loved the De La Cruz disc, so I'm glad to hear something along those lines. Can't wait to hear more!

I've been listening to this album for a few days and I must say it's a solid release. Agree with Jez - Martensson has given it his touch and it works for me. Pleasantly surprised when I heard the samples and I think the album is great. Sure, it's not going to break new ground but it's catchy, full of melodies and the production is spot on. I can hear Eclipse, WET and Reckless Love all over this - and that's not a bad thing. I hope this won't be one of these albums that I put away after a week or 2... Let's see if it has staying power!

Can not wait for this... Incredible band! Last 2 albums are fantastic and they keep growing. One of my most anticipated of 2014

Must admit I'm looking forward to a new studio release from these guys rather than a covers album.. It should still contain some AOR gems so I will definitely check it out!
