  1. I remember there being a decent ballad on there. Then again, the fact that I can't remember the name of it should tell you something. I do remember hating this CD, giving it another chance years later and liking the ballad.
  2. I own everything the Maids have ever done and in all the years of collecting and tracking down their stuff I have never once seen that original red cover on CD. I know if it was out there I would have purchased it by now. On a related note, there is mention of two Maids songs that apparently were supposed to be included on the cassette version of Future World when it was released...but never were. These ultra rare tracks are "Bring On The Bad News" and "Rock Zone"...if anyone out there has these, has heard them, or knows where I can get them please let me know!! Thanks! Brian
  3. I asked this question on the Melodicrock board recently. Here's Ted's reply on January 24th: COMING SOON..... and to describe it in a single word-AWESOME. tp Can't wait.
  4. I have that cassette single of "A Letter To Santa" as well. I just realized from the post above that "See The Light" is on it as well. How did I never notice that? As for "A Letter To Santa"...yeah, pretty lame little song, but it must be quite a collector's item now as it was only released on cassette and seems to be pretty much forgotten.
  5. Without a doubt this is an album that grows on you with each listen. The first time I heard it I thought it was good. 5-6 spins later I think it is phenomenal. I absolutely love everything on it.
  6. Anyone a fan of Del Amitri or Justin's solo album "What Is Love For?" It's been out for a while now, but I just got around to picking it up. As a long time Del's fan...was not disappointed. This guy really has a unbelievable knack for lyrics. Much more mellow than typical Del's stuff...more akin to what Butch Walker did on Letters (although this is probably even more low key). Overall, a haunting, depressing piece of work...but beautiful.
  7. Man, everytime I hear this band mentioned I start slamming my head against the wall. Before I knew any better, I found the Witness CD TWICE on seperate occassions for around $7 each time...and passed on it. I have never been able to find one since. Similiar story with an original copy of Signal - Loud & Clear...but the Witness one always drives me crazy. TYTAN
