Me too. Love VH. Love Hagar. Never the twain shall meet. I was never a Hagar fan BEFORE he joined Van Halen so when the news came that he was the new VH guy, I simply walked away. I will never forget goin' to the Van Halen Monsters of Rock concert at Giants Stadium in 1988 and noticing a van in the parking lot with the words "HAGAR'S NOT METAL!" written on the side in white reflector tape. Summed my feelings up perfectly. My friends and I stayed until the Scorpions were finished and then left before VH came on... and a LOT of other people did the same thing! You and your friends missed a great show...seen this show in Akron and it was awesome.I am a Van Halen fan with DLR first but the Monsters Of Rock Show that year with Hagar was great.I guess the people in Ohio live for the music first not the lead singer so EVERYBODY stayed and had a great time.....I remember it well.
