If you like this album, you will love 'Pandemonium' and 'Motherland' from Pretty Maids, no doubt. Yeah, and Martensson is is more consistent on the melodic song front, and has written a good album in this style... but I reckon I could pluck 30+ songs from Pretty Maids' discography that are better than any song on this album. For a start, try 'Live until it hurts,' 'Never too late,' 'Die with your dreams' and 'Love and a fiction,' all from their 'Spooked' album. Even the title track I'd prefer to most of Nordic Union. Nothing at all against Nordic Union and Martensson, but Ronnie Atkins and Pretty Maids are sure as hell no second rate act in this story. Ha ha you always pick those Maids songs and i always think really??? For sure they are decent songs but for me no where near Maids best songs. Now if you said 'Hell on High Hells', 'INVU', 'Partners In Crime' or 'Dont Settle For Less' id probably be inclined to back your argument. Of course in the whole Maids discography there are songs better than Nordic Union. But.... My God there are some killer songs on this album....'Hypocrisy', 21 Guns, Falling and Go are as good as any song youll hear this year i reckon. And theres another 2 or 3 not far behind i reckon. Agree with Glen for sure. And for me dare I say "Fallen" is my favorite Ronnie sung song in years.

Glad someone else appreciates this album. I love New Religion but i reckon i have listened to Riot Avenue and the debut more. 'Riot Avenue' is a good solid album. Simple explanation of the raw sound to me; It just plain and simply doesn't sound as "full" as something like 'New Religion.' Drums and guitars sound thin and it just doesn't sound like someone sat down and well... produced the thing, for lack of a better term. Just sounds like they laid down their guitar, drum and bass tracks separately and put it together with the vocals and the album was finished. Trendy hipsters may think that's cool, but I personally prefer a nice full and beefy sound... something ballsy like you get when you see a band live. Agree 100%. I also feel RA is a very solid album(the songs are there),just not the slick production(real shame) but still really like the album.

What I got from it is, New song "Runaway" 11 Live songs and 5 acoustic songs.

I used to not mind "live" albums(back in the day), but not so much any more. So for (1) new song, no thanks. I will buy the song from itunes.

Quoted for truth. Put whatever spin you want on that Europe album... say it caters to your taste, or it's back to their roots or whatever fantasy you can think of... more power to you. But as the sky is blue, that album (and their current sound/style) is pure fucking garbage. Agreed!

Lynch Mob, Europe and Ten in your top 15?!! You're a generous man You should send your list to each of those artists so they know at least one person on earth thinks they are not all terrible. Not having a go, mate, but it's a very curious list. Very different to everyone else's. Just wondering if you could tell me the reasons why you think Ten is better than Find Me? Or why Lynch Mob and Europe are better than Eclipse and Santa Cruz? It's completely your opinion and it's up to you, but I would just love to see an explanation for that. You should check out the Melodic Mafia on the FaceTubes. There are a lot of folks that think that Europe album was the best of the year. Many people say it's the best album Europe's ever released. Now, I'm not saying I agree with that, I haven't even heard the damn album--highly doubt I'd enjoy it--but I'm just saying there are a lot of people that don't share your particular taste. I'm part of that group, and I for one don't like the Europe at all.
