I gave that track a few more listens, aaaaaaand...yeah, wow. That's just irritating.

A couple of the YouTube commenters have been saying that the vox sound like Mark Slaughter, which I can kinda hear...

...mind you, while that comparison might be OK with some people, I have always abso-frickin-lutely HATED Mark's girlish, whiny "singing," it causes me physical pain.

    Therefore for me... no bueno.

Sorry Frankie. Nice try, but August 4th my $$ is going to the new Accept album.

Did your monies ever really consider going to this anyway?

There was a certain amount of morbid curiosity involved ... until I heard that track. :P

You know what? You are really weird.

    You're just noticing that now??

Good song, Jacks voice would have made it even better.

I think this comment just ruined the song for me, 'cause, yeah, it is a good song, but now I just wanna hear Jack sing it.

You ain't lying!! Jack would have made this much better. It's not as horrible as the two tracks I uploaded to YouTube.

  5. Hi guys. Just wanted to share a local Baltimore band that I was very close to in 1995. CHAIN THE DAY was formed in 1994 by 5 friends. My best friend from high school's brother was the band's drummer. The band recorded a 4-song demo in 1995 and played several of the local clubs including the Midway Cafe, where I saw them twice. Very melodic and harmonious, these guys are pure AOR/melodic rock. Of course, the musical climate at the time didn't work in their favor and they disbanded. The demo tape was really for themselves more than anything. But they were awesome imo!

My signed photo of the band:

This picture was also in ROX magazine's final issue MAY 1995:

    Track 1 "Heart -N- Soul"

    Track 2 "Lover's Rain"

Track 3 "Time Is All It Takes"

Track 4 "Waiting For Your Call"

    CHAIN THE DAY was:

    Scott G. : Lead Vocals

Joe Smith : Lead Guitars/Backing Vocals

Mark Mills : Lead Guitars/Backing Vocals

Rich Chamberlain : Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals

    John Meyers : Drums
