Really solid album. I was tryna place their sound, and I think if you take all the melancholic tunes from the 1975 (their best songs) you get the Broken View. I don't love the mix--it sounds a bit muddy--but it's not enough to keep me from listening to this over and over. 

Great album, by the way. I've listened to it once, so far. Looking forward to many more spings.

I commented on this thread last year, and then completely forgot about it. Finally getting caught up, and, holy shit, I love this! Totally my jam! But who's surprised?

I need to put these guys back on my radar.

The song is about the band's early days and they're wearing wigs looking like their hair back then. The drummer is the only one who wasn't there from the start so they just made him look a bit younger (with the cap). 

I really like the band and the song and I think this is one of the best bands Germany has to offer. Though their songs are never surprising.

This track sounds immense. Let's hope the rest of the album follows suit.
