Yep, all seven episodes ordered by CBS were filmed and in the can prior to the writers strike. CBS is actually kicking themselves now for not ordering a few more episodes...

At least now, with it being one of the only shows providing viewers with "fresh", non repeat, entertainment, I think it has a really good chance at becoming a bonafide hit.

 

 

I hope your right about it having a chance at being a hit as I'd love to see this show go a few more seasons.

Well this is one show that I'll be able to watch in the new year, since I'm sure they have filmed all 7 eps. Most of the other shows I normally watch are 'tits up' because of the writers strike....

Damnit!!!, I've got to get into the habit of searching HH before I put in orders .....now I'll have to wait and see if I'm one of the lucky ones to receive my order without hassle....

Yes I did....not that it probably means much but fuck it, it's too late now so I'll just have to see what happens....... I really hope they come thru since I've been looking for the 4 cds I ordered for a while and the prices were reasonable....

 

 

You might trying send them an email asking if all the titles you ordered were in fact in stock and if they've been shipped. My biggest issue I've had with them is part of my order showing up with a card saying one of the titles I ordered was out of stock. Why they don't tell me that in the email I don't know. I've called them numberous times too and they've always been very helpful over the phone.

Well Impulse finally sent me 2 of the 4 cds I ordered. They really need to change the way they do business. They need better communication with their customers and they need to fix it so that you can only order cds that they have in stock.

In the future I will email them first to see if they have the items I want in stock and if they do then I will put in an order.

I guess I'm a loner here since I voted for Joker. Joker "Cool Deal" is one of the best releases to ever grace the year 1992. The debut was fine slice of hair metal as well. Damn, what a wouldn't give for these guys to re-unite.

Joker were a great band indeed. 2nd only to Jaded Heart in this poll, imo.

I must admit that I haven't been able to track down any of Joker's releases ....I'd love to see all their stuff re-released..........

You'd love their 'Crack in the wall' album, mate. Easily their best, imo. Very much in the style of Victory.

 

'Before the storm' might be a little "thin" sounding but I actually really like the CD. Definitely worth picking up. And the debut, 'Our Kingdom' really is a good solid slab of AOR/melodic hard rock. Very consistent and good disc.

 

We may be different, mate, but if you ask me those 4 albums absolutely destroy their last 4 (and I haven't even heard 2 of them lol - but the sad thing is I can predict exactly what they sound like). I think 'One million...' is a great album. Well, in parts anyway.

Well maybe I will give 'Crack in the Wall' a chance since I like Victory....if I can find it

I plan to pick up their latest 'Stardawn' one of these days......hope it is better than the last one...

This band went from being a band where each release was essential to my collection... and now I have not even heard 'Last Days of Utopia' and 'Stardawn' because they have left me so cold with 'Artifact' and 'Sixth Dimension'.

If their first cds aren't any better than 'One Million' I'll have to pass on buying them but I really liked 'Artifact' and 'Sixth Dimension'...of course the first release I picked up was 'Artifact' so maybe I'm a bit biased as I think 'One Million' sounds a lot different from anything they released later....
