  1. Winterhawk by Craig Thomas. Spy thriller with the character Mitchell Gant from Firefox and Firefox Down books.
  2. The first half of the 2 hour series premiere was tonight. Pretty cool show that starts off after the events at the end of T2. Interesting twist on the Terminator sent to protect John. What did you all think? Read about it here: http://www.fox.com/terminator/
  3. Same here. That box is still checked in my profile.
  4. I noticed in the last week that I no longer receive an e-mail notifying me that I have a PM here. I haven't touched anything in my setup and I do not have a spam filter on that e-mail account. Has something changed?
  5. I bid on some of those items he got negs on and others he jacked the price up on so I didn't bother. I hate it when guys do that and you lose out on an item and then find out that they didn't bother to pay the seller. Why bid on it at all if you're just gonna stiff people
  6. CNN just reported that the NFL has suspended Vick indefinitely
  7. I just saw on ESPN.com that ESPN's legal analyst is pretty sure that that is just Vick's lawyers spreading disinformation (probably to confuse the public) and that it is highly unlikely that Vick has any clout to get the government to back off the charges the other defendants have already admitted to. We'll see.
  8. I have a cd by Cristeen with 9 tracks on it. Appears to be decent quality demos. Most of it seems to be a bit more laid back than the song in the Youtube video but there are some rockers too.
  9. Hmmm... does the same thing with Opera as well. The weird thing with Opera is that when I leave the site and then come back it says at the top of the page that I need to log in but some of the forum sections do not say "protected" (but some do) and I can go in and look at some of them. Just when I try to post in that section do I have to re-log in. Very strange. So it doesn't seem to be IE only. Maybe still a Windows glitch.
  10. Hi Dan - I logged out, cleared out all of my cookies and then came back and relogged in. But when I leave the site and then come back it makes me log in again. Sometimes even though it says I am logged in to the forum, when I click on one of the individual sections like buying and selling, it makes me log in again. Arrrghhh Definitely gonna go try Opera again now.
  11. Good grief! All I did was hit the refresh button while already logged in here and I had to log in all over again. There's several other sites that I log into regularly and don't have that problem at any of those, only here. It's probably a Windows problem so I'm gonna try Opera now and see what happens with that browser. Been using that for years but some sites don't work with it so I've had to use IE more than I want to.
  12. Mine's Windows XP Pro w/ all of the latest updates. Not sure which IE they are up to now, but that's what I would have. BTW, just had to log in again to access the board. On the good side, the pop-up that warned that this might be a phishing website when I looked at the database seems to be gone
  13. I've had this problem for the past few days. Every time I leave and then come back a bit later it says I am not logged in and I have to re-enter my user name and password or I am blocked from the forums. Never had this problem in the past but now it happens constantly.
  14. Bobbi - I'd be happy to do that but since I turned the phishing filter back on today to get a URL to post nothing has happened. I don't get the constant pop-up message anymore when perusing the database. I did download and install some more XP updates, maybe one of them fixed that?? If it comes up again I will post what I see.
  15. Since there are a zillion pages here at HH, it was pointless to keep clicking on the Microsoft link to let them know that I don't think this is a phishing website since a message comes up for every band link I click on almost. No problem here in the Forum though. I just went ahead and disabled the feature in IE.
  16. I'm running XP Pro with all the latest updates and the latest IE version. It just started doing this today and it hasn't quit yet. This feature can probably be disabled but then you lose the "anti-phising" feature. Not that I really need it anyway but it's just another Microsoft glitch.
  17. This is really annoying now. Every time I click on a band in the database, a Microsoft pop-up warns me that this is a suspicious website and to beware. I went thru the hassle of filling out their form saying I did not think this was a suspicious website but it comes up for every band I click on. Anybody else have this problem? This must be some new stupid security update Windows installed on my computer.
  18. I'm a big collector of female fronted bands and love most of the bands listed. Have to say Show Ya is my favorite all girl rock band. I've managed to collect all of their cds plus all of their laserdiscs and concert videos that I am aware of.
  19. Me too. Mostly because I was too embarassed to admit I didn't know what Disucss meant. I figured it was an important internet acronym. I tried all combinations of words I could think of but could never figure out what Disucss could mean
  20. I thought I recognized those pictures. I've come across their website a few times. But, wow - that's really uncool of them to ask for cdrs of stuff they didn't win or even bid on, especially when you consider the prices they are asking for the cds on their website. Their prices are all at the high end of the scale. Since their asking prices are so high, maybe they could just make me some cdrs of stuff I want
