  1. Hey guys, sorry, I don't get a chance to get here much these days so I'm just now seeing the new messages.. The AOL promotion only ran for a week but you can check the band's music out at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Crash-Street-Kids/75511868391?sk=app_2405167945 And their new site at www.crashstreetkids.com should have music up sometime in the next week or 2. Thanks
  2. The Saves The Day and Strokes comparisons were strictly AOL's, I had nothing to do with that LOL I submitted their bio and there are Mott The Hoople, T. Rex and David Bowie mentions, but neither of those bands. The album is "out" now but will be released nationally (and internationally) the week of January 15, 2012. Glad you like!
  3. Go here to check out the full album: My link
  4. I second this.. We had a little marketing meeting yesterday while they were in town, concerning 2012 and The States ... and all I can really say is that it was very interesting and the US based people on here should be pretty happy with what is in the works. And, by the way, for anyone that hasn't seen this band live yet (as in REALLY live, YouTube live clips truly don't do them justice) they are a mother f'n machine. Simon Cruz is a star of the highest order.
  5. Stateside, anyway .... I've worked with them a little before
  6. New clients of mine, featuring ex Pillar touring guitarist, Joey Avalos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s3FUpwXR6I and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa_mnwcPbnw
  7. These guys have a new EP coming up and I wouldn't be surprised if they get signed to a Major label in the near future following in the footsteps of Reckless Love. Seriously, I think this is one hell of a band and with a little guidance of a great producer they could go far. Check out "Anthem for the Young and Restless" and "Over the Limit from the upcoming EP: Santa Crut Hitlantis This is pretty good stuff. Do they not have their own web presence anywhere? I can't even find a Facebook or MySpace page for them, much less their own site.
  8. Oooooh. Sounds like somebody knows some behind the scenes scoop.... A little bit, yup (look at the contact info on their Facebook page ....) All I see is TBC - Guitarist Look 5 and 6 lines below that ... Oh yeah I saw that you're their booking agent/manager but I thought I missed something else. Sorry. Nope, that was it - wasn't actually their agent, just manager. Mark just listed me under the agent thing also. And, are we friends on Facebook? If not, fucking request me, you jackass Dave I'm almost a 1000% sure weve been fb friends for more than a year or maybe longer. Well, I'm a moron. You should know that by now LOL

  11. Great song but it's far from being the strongest on the album.

    DC4

Have you guys heard the new DC4 album, 'Electric Ministry' (Jeff Duncan from Armored Saint and ex-Dio guitarist, Rowan Robertson)?? DC4's Metal Blade page

  14. They actually did find a new guitarist, 19 year old Jake Dreyer, who's amazing. His first show with the band would have been in Greece in October but J-Lo, I mean Harry, made that an impossibility. As well as any future opportunities ...
  15. Story here Call him Dr. Dickinson, if you please. Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson received an Honorary Doctorate Of Music degree from Queen Mary University in London on Tuesday in honor of his contributions to the music industry. Dickinson has some familiarity with the University and vice versa: he earned a degree in history there back in 1979. Turns out young Bruce was using college as a way to buy time while he pursued his real passion: music. While his parents wanted to see him in the army, Bruce told them that he wanted to get a degree first. "That was what they wanted to hear so that was my cover story," he later explained. "When I got down there, I started immediately finding and playing in bands." Beyond his skills as a musician and song-writer, Dickinson is also an author, film script writer and TV broadcaster, a champion fencer, entrepreneur and commercial airline pilot. Bruce currently flies Maiden around the world in the band‘s customized Boeing 757 called Ed Force One. Queen Mary is one of the U.K.'s leading research-focused universities, offering a broad range of degrees in humanities and social sciences; medicine and dentistry and science and engineering, with over 14,000 undergraduates, 2,000 postgraduate students and 3,000 staff. Iron Maiden are currently on “The Final Frontier” tour in support of their 2010 album of the same name; the trek has been playing throughout Europe since early May.
  16. Dug the song by the way thanks for the link. Hey man - it's been so freaking busy around here it's nuts - very little time to visit message boards, unfortunately As for the Crash Street Kids, they have a new album coming out this summer and if you liked that video you'll LOVE the stuff on the new album
  17. The album is phenomenal. You can check out a Knuckletracks exclusive of "Bringing On The End" here
  18. Power pop fans - you may die happily now
  19. I just did a tour press campaign for these guys last month. They did a few Midwest and East Coast dates with Thriving Ivory. I think they'll be doing more dates with them in February but I'm not 100% sure on that. They live in LA nowadays, by the way.
  20. Watch this, even if for the eye candy!
  21. Yep, they're one of my current bands. Glad you like 'em. Their new album, Rollin' is out now and has SoundScanned just short of 6,000 copies to date. They're actually going to be in Seattle on Nov. 27 at Studio Seven. And yes, Keith ... Rollin' ... THC .... I don't think they fit into the DARE program at any point in their collective lives Although this alllllll just conjecture, of course
