That sucks Delbert. What a great way to never get supported again.

    What an assclown. :soapbox:

Are you nuts???? Anyone can deliver a CD in 6 weeks even if he had to send it by carrier pidgeon!!! Anyway, I filed a dispute......that means "Hello seller, what's the story? Your buyer hasn't heard a peep from you?" It DOES NOT mean I filed a claim!!!

Get real my friend!!!! An Assclown is someone who hasn't the courtesy to inform his buyer if he is experiencing a problem that will cause a delay.....I have bought and sold more CDs than you've ever owned!!!

Wasn't calling you an assclown.... that dude from Love N' Revenge is an assclown for not sending the CD or at least a courtesy email to explain any problem/delay.

I appologize for misreading your post..........

I don't think he was aiming at you Delbert, he meant the Damon dude...

I will concede that may have been the case......his post was not very clear and I read it as referring to my filing a dispute!

  4. I think I haven't got 'V', is it good Geoff ?

AWESOME!!!!!.....The band's 5th melodic AOR album IS heavily influenced by JOURNEY and TOTO. You get fluffy keys and vocalist Goran Edman (Glory, Malmsteen, Kharma). This one showcases some of the finest, most melodic AOR and westcoast tunes you'll ever let your ears be stimulated with. Totally essential, ultra high quality all the way through every track. I am waiting with bated breath to hear the bonus tracks.............?????????????????????

  5. I didn't expect it, but I have to say, I kinda love that tune. Yeah it's pretty basic, but I still love it. Really great melodic rock. Looking at the song titles, I hope it's not just a one-off, but either way, I'll check out the EP if only for this great song. Very nice find.

Have to ditto your thoughts Geoff......something there that just reaches out and pulls the ole chain!!!

  6. Oh, I forgot.....the track list for the album is as follows:

    (BSA)
    Don't You Leave Me
    Last To Know
    Time To Move
    Forever
    I Can't Find The Words
    She's Gotta Change
    Hold On To Me
    Didn't Feel A Thing
    Turn It Up

    (SOME LIKE IT HOT)
    Crossin Over
    Runnin
    Stop Spinnin Me Round
    Hold Me Down
    Some Like It Hot

    (3X5)
Don't Know How To Tell You
    Till It's Over
    From Now On

I just noticed these guys aren't on this site and found it curious as I'd assume they'd be up some people's alleys (the likes of Jez and Bernd perhaps?). I've heard a bunch of songs from these guys; mostly terrible sound quality, and to be honest they're not that great. They probably would have been okay with a decent producer, but there's one song I absolutely love from their collection (from 1986), which is this one:

Just sort I'd post it because I assume others will love it too.

Their discography seems to look a little like this:

    Forever (1983)

Some Like It Hot EP (1985)

    3 by 5 EP (1986)

I'd be interested to know people's thoughts and experiences with this band.

There is a rare 17 track compilation CD that was released in 1999 on a tiny indie label of the USA. Originally recorded between 1982 and 1986 and previously available only on LP, this CD compilation includes tracks from their first album, "BSA", which was a hard edged pop rocker with a couple of decent tunes and some nice guitar work. Then with the second, "Some Like It Hot", came a change in image and sound, with the tunes taking on a more straight ahead melodic rock stance, but still with pop rock sensibilities helped by the keys being noticeably higher up in the mix. The third is a 3 track ep ("3 X 5") of fine Aor, that showed a marked improvement in songwriting and vocals, with Bill Blake taking the mic on all the tracks, and original member Gary Spaniola (guitar/vocals) sitting it out, contributing to the production only. (he's produced all the albums). That's pretty much what I can tell you about this band and the 3 albums.

  8. Original track "Runaway" was recorded for the Miller Life Battle Of The Bands series which featured bands from across the USA. Radio stations in major cities had a vinyl release with the bands from their listening areas and The original "Runaway" was released on the WAPP New York album along with a track by Twisted Sister.

A sister station of WAPP here in the St Louis market, KSHE was playing the track by Jon Bon Jovi "Runaway" and the D.J.'s indicated it was an unreleased track further adding that you should not run down to the local record shop in an attempt to buy it.

KSHE continued playing it over and over and I was hooked. I discovered that the track was on the WAPP New York Battle Of The Bands album. Lo and behold, my neighbor was making a trip to New York and I talked him into dropping by a record outlet in New York City and picking up a copy for me.........

The track became the winner of the Battle Of The Bands contest and Jon Bon Jovi was awarded a record contract as a result. The debut Bonjovi album was later released with "Runaway" being the first track on the album.
