Rediscovering ULI JON ROTH

Just got blown away by this former Scorps. Never thought that he is really THAT good. And probably (though it pains me to say) that this is one hard rock guitarist who can actually topple Van Halen in the "feel" and speed category.

 

Now, I've heard Manuel Barrueco's, Narcisso Yepes', Paco De Lucia's and John Williams' versions of Concerto De Aranjuez, but Uli Roth's electric guitar version is not far from De Lucia's amazing version. Check it out.

Brilliant guitarist, his playing on the early Scorpions albums is phenomenonal.

 

Saw him live last year supporting the Scorps and he is incredible live, looks the same now as he did on the Scorps album covers in the 1970`s

His singing is probably some of the worst vocals out there!
